that darker grey piece looks like some sort of retention collar, try pushing that in and removing the tube.

That's a push fit connector, you need to push the dark grey part in and then just pull the pipe out while holding it down

@DrMacintosh Internet Recovery is just an image of the 10.7 installer (in my case), with a few extra features to do stuff like browse the Apple support pages. But it’s basically just a specialized image of the installer disc, as far as what I’ve experienced with it.

Hey, sorry for being quite for a few Days.

As mentioned earlier, the son   of the owner wanted to do it himself so I had to take it back to her.
Thus no solution but done here.

Thanks a lot for your help anyhow.

Sorry for the late reply, christmas and stuff

It's for business calls, mostly for contract solving. He knows (he told me he does, I don't care further) that he informed himself and needs these abilities to record agreements with his clients.
As for as much as I know about the legal stuff, he confirms that it is legal in the call, hits record, REPEATS everything about him recording (this is key) and then the client has to agree, on tape, to be recorded. And with that it turns legal or something.

I was just asked to find such a device
And  for tape recorder, that is pretty much what I am looking for, except with sd card to transfer it on a pc

staubgame got a reaction from Thias.TG in HP Laptop Beep Codes - 2 beeps 5 times
I did manage to find something in HP Support, the Capslock Key LED flashes twice (I wrote TAB in the beginning, my bad) and they say that's BIOS defective and provide a solution to "reset" the bios to the last known configuration. Of course that did not work.
But for any one interesstet: Link (german support however)

staubgame reacted to demonix00 in Windows 10 Home to Pro not working
It's most likely giving that error because it's not an upgrade code (this is just a guess since you can upgrade to pro directly through the OS), and the reason why you're getting no option to enter a product key during the windows 10 install is because the original license code is hard coded into the BIOS and the installation media is reading that and proceeding with installing the original version of windows that the key is linked with.

Hmm, the PC is used for translations. the 1500 is sufficent. Now it's 1/1.
I checked the 1600 but that is currently a +60€ investment.

The PC currently runs a AMD DualCore from 2008 so while the upgrade is kinda overdue, the requirements are pretty low to begin with. It's more a price choice than anything else.
(The R5 1400 is only 8€ less, so that is not worth saving. )

Thanks for the fyi, I was not aware when new AMDs would come out. Hopefully they can close the gap to intel a bit (and thus, fully kick a** )

Ryzen is the best choice by a long shot, much better upgrade path, but if you can try to get the 1600 it will last longer, btw in February new ryzen CPUs will come out with around 10% higher clocks fyi

You'll have to decrypt and break down all the parts and pieces of the software, figure out a way to reverse engineer the OS to be compatible with standard hardware, and then hope you don't get sued into oblivion when you release it.

    Hey,
sorry I only answer today, busy days. ^^

Anyhow, I found a few things googling but mostly for previewing as admin. The plugin you linked sounds good and I will try it

My main goal was to get a recommendation since there are usually hundrets of plugins for one task, and only few of them work well.

I assume he's talking about how nvidia has:
told all AIB partners (EVGA, MSI, etc.) that they must sell all 1070Tis with the same base clock, instead of offering different tiers of pre-overclocked models like they have for ages told AIB partners they're not even allowed to bin the chips, so when you buy their most basic 1070 Ti or the most expensive makes no different to the GPU core itself, only the cooler.  In either case it's totally random if you get a great or crappy chip (silicon lottery) decided to offer their founders edition at the same price AIB partners are expected to sell at, as opposed to "Staying out of their way" by pricing their founders edition higher like they have in the past (tbh I don't understand what's wrong with this but it was also mentioned) And that's not even getting into the whole "unboxing embargo" nonsense

Unfortunately, I can't and won't subscribe until DRM is no longer on the table as a discussion topic. If I can't watch what I want, when I want, where I want, on the device of my choosing without an internet connection, I won't pay for it. Netflix almost has this covered, as although you need their proprietary app to watch content, most of it is indeed downloadable for offline watching, and the app is available on literally everything from Smartphones to SmartTVs to older iPad's no longer supported by Apple. I understand why DRM exists, but paying consumers should never be the ones restricted by the technical limitations put in place to protect content they've already paid a license to watch.

staubgame got a reaction from Kyle_N in Console and PC Price to Performance Examination
Given that consoles are not really anything else than a gaming laotop inside their case, yeah.
I think MS made great steps in that direction with the Xbox One. They even advertised it as a multimedia device rather than a gaming console.
Maybe just a bit too eager for the market.

But, a XBox or Playstation would no doubt be powerful enough to even run all that, and to go fully insane for a second, even connect eveything inside a smart home at the same time. (That is future music though^^).

And totally unrelated but in regards to earlier, I do like the looks of the PS4 over pretty much any PC case available. The size / space requirement might also be a factor.

I agree with this. The monitor ($100 for 1080p) really wouldn't affect the overall conclusion but one of the points I am trying to make is that console gaming seems a lot cheaper on the surface which is why a lot of people go for it.

staubgame got a reaction from Damascus in Console and PC Price to Performance Examination
Yeah when taking used parts into account, consoles are out the window in no time.
Ahh gaming on the "cheap", I still have my old mouse and keyboard on my shelf, ready whenever I need an extra pair or replacement.

Still, everyone already has a tv. So while yeah, partially you could include the price,  most people really wouldn't.
And in the few cases I was asked, I can say people don't. A TV is a standart household item while a monitor is not.
That is, together with the space needed to set up a PC, the main reason that laptops are such a huge success at the moment.
