I would do your best to avoid doing this.. however it would work it it was necessary given that the adapters you use are good. And that you follow what the first reply said with which cable to to go where.

Double check that your boot order is set properly in the BIOS. HDD should be first.

The other day I was watching some videos on the linustechtips channel and one of them mentioned a program that the Linus Media Group uses in their office for removing old drivers. I had meant to save the video but naturally I didn't and I can't find the video. Can anyone point me to which video it was or better yet know what program they use? This would be greatly appreciated as I'm in need of it at the moment. Thanks in advance!
