  1. No I was unable to ping the router, but the cable detects the router. I meant to include that in post, sorry.
  2. Earlier this week whilst playing Fortnite my ping to the game server spiked to a solid 1100, it would not drop. At first i brushed it off thinking someone else in the household was doing something, after about 5 minutes of this ping I asked my family if they were doing anything and to my surprise my father was the only one using the internet and he was on Facebook. Around ten minutes after the start of this "attack" my ping lowered back down to a solid 30. Throughout the week this exact same thing has been happening ever 1-2 hours and today it gave up. For some reason the internet will not connect at all, through Ethernet (which I usually use) or through WiFi. It is important to note that every other device on our network works during these "attacks", so it isn't likely to be an issue with the router or the cable because the router is being detected by my PC. Here is a list of my PC specs if it will help diagnose my issue: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/b3tT9W
  3. Ive been playing fortnite for 3 months with no issues until this week. I usually have around 180-110 fps in fortnite with my RX 580 but for some reason my fps keeps dropping to 20 and in some cases the game litterally freezes for up to 3 seconds. Is this something wrong with my GPU? Or does anyone know how to fix it?
  4. Just got the Cloud Alpha's today and tried getting them working but finding no success. The only sound coming from them is some static noise, when i unplug and plug the mic back in it will also make a noise. Any suggestions on whats wrong? I fear that the mic arrived broken and i'll have to wait even longer. Also, the headset is being plugged directly into the rear jacks on my Gigabyte Z170MX-Gaming 5 mobo and i am using the splitter
  5. What is the temperature when it is not running FaH? That sounds good for being under load though.
  6. I don't think Costco would sell a bootleg phone. You probably just made yourself believe it's a bootleg phone, there could be something wrong with your screen however if you insist there is an issue.
  7. Recently the USB 3.1 port died on my motherboard and I am struggling with USB space. After getting some Christmas cash I am looking to upgrade my RAM and purchase a powered USB hub. I was looking at buying the AUKEY Powered USB Hub with 7 USB 3.0 Ports, 3 AiPower Charging Portsr. When I found a review of this hub on YouTube the reviewer said that a USB hub does not take one USB and turn it into 7. I splits the USB bandwidth into 7, so you cannot plug in 7 USB 3 devices and expect them to work. This makes sense to me but I was wondering if anyone could verify that. I am also wondering if I plug my Logitech G933 Headset , a Xbox One wireless controller adapter, a standard USB 3 storage stick, and a guitar to PC cable (For games like Rocksmith) if it would still work? If this wouldn't work can someone guide me to a that will be able to support my needs?
  8. I have recently gotten into mining and was looking for a way to increase my hash rate. I just realized I have a RX 460 4GB boxed away not being used. I have two questions, 1. Will using my RX 580 and RX 460 4GB together work for mining? 2. What problems might occur if I do this? I don't have the RX 460 drivers installed, will I be able to do this with my other card plugged in or will I have to remove the 580 to set up the 460. Edit: I am mining Ethereum.
  9. Thank you so much, I uninstalled the Aorus software and reset my card through the AMD software and it works. Thanks again!
  10. I just tried the benchmark with hardware monitor open and the card is locked at 300MHz, also i will try uninstalling the software
  11. Today I installed my new RX 580 with no issues, I downloaded all the drivers and it was working great. I was doing the Unigine Heaven benchmark when I decided to apply the factory OC to my Card through the Aorus software. When I tried the benchmark again I was getting back around 8 FPS on max settings, down from 50. This is also the case in 3D Mark, Any have any suggestions on what to do or did my card get destroyed? Card is Gigabyte RX 580 8GB
  12. It's still happening, by now it could've downloaded 2GB. Is there any way to pause a (potential) windows update? Edit: I restarted to apply an update and it's back at it again. I can't do anything while this is happening,,,
