Is much simpler than that: They wouldn't need to cover higher wages if they were not such fucking scumbags about evading taxes and leaving the state unable and unwilling to provide several basic necessities. 
 
If there was no change to the tax brackets at all, just strict enforcement of the current rules and no tax evasion, tax heavens, etc. There'd be enough money to fund education, health care, even housing and more extensive food programs, etc. then you can keep paying 8 bucks an hour.

A lot of Bernie Sanders beliefs will just blend right into modern America and I believe he has the power to possibly fix the corrupt campaign financing and lobbying in congress. Remember, America is already very socialist- and his policies on free public education and college (stuff like community colleges, not ivy league schools- something many people get confused) would be amazing to help promote a bright future for America. A vote for Bernie is a vote for a president who actually cares about his people.

Jewish people were sent to a part of Jordan called Palestine then through terrorism created a state. The UN drew borders and created several treaties all of them got ignored by Israel.
They have also used chemical weapons against civilians (Geneva convention states that you cant attack hostile groups when civilians can be harmed).
Combine this with torture and imprisonment without fair trial.

The fact is:  A country's economy must find a balance of policy that encompasses elements from multiple trains of economic idealism.  The USA already has many socialist, capitalist, militarist, fascist and religious policies coming out of it's legislative branch.
 
Why do you pick on socialism as if that particular economic idea is the only one that has evident failures when put into practice?  Why are you so Fox News Like?  Really, I am insulting you.  You are a real person displaying real examples of ideological failure.  Are we to determine you don't work, as a life?
 
ON TOPIC:  Sanders is the best chance to change some really bad things in the USA.  Every other front runner will answer to someone other than their voters, yes even Trump.  Trump is the spirit of corruption incarnate.

I donated to Sanders' campaign, he stands for what we have in the UK, decent workers' rights, healthcare and social services and to deny anyone of those fundamental rights is an act against freedom itself. I feel like America is backwards and needs someone to bring it into the 21st century, I mean, in your political debates you discuss creationism. What the fuck, America?

His tax plan is effectively saying:  Invest in your country.
 
Opposition says:  Give money to private entities.
 
What is there to understand?

Consider it might not be a trust issue in terms of dishonesty.  Humans make mistakes, he is human.  He might win office.  He might make mistakes.  He might not be able to do what he promises.
 
His stances are forged in the precedence of his civil record.  They will not change unless someone can prove to him there is a better way.  ... and not many people in this world can. 
 
What I am saying is:  he is not dishonest.  The only risk of voting him in is that he will not be able to accomplish all he sets out to.  You know he will try because of his conviction.  Can you say that of ANY other front runner?

It's great to hear everyone elses opinions. To me, he comes across as a man of his word, and I agree with his proposals to reallocate tax dollars which would have previously been spent on things like military to healthcare, education and the like. That can always be a good thing. Thanks for providing a good debate guys.
