CrackheadKyle got a reaction from Balrog0fMorgoth in Do You really Need ECC RAM for a home NAS???
Unless if your info is mission critical like for a small business and if any errors occurs it would cause a huge monetary loss or disruption in operation No you would not need that for say games, personal photos or even tax info standard DDR works 80-90% flawless and 99% of errors aren't even noticable so you spending exponentially more for that extra 5-9% and a bit more reassurance

CrackheadKyle got a reaction from dalekphalm in Driving exam (last time hopefully) question
So after my experience in the drive learning I say this
1) Do Not Stress it! Stress will make you drive like shit and they can smell fear
2) ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS Blind Spot check and I mean a full shoulder check
3) Right before the test try to drive a bit to get in the grove and calm down. If you got your permit try to be the to drive there with your dad or mom or other guardian
4) The Speed Limit IS NOT THE SUGGEST DRIVE SPEED you should be going a couple of MPH BELOW speed limit on the BEST CONDITIONS
5) When parallel parking at least in Texas AS SOON as you feel the tire hit the curb STOP and don't drive over the curb just restart the process they can't fail you, maybe penalize
6) Be Very Polite to the instructor like Sir or Ma'am and Thank you for your time polite remember you're at there mercy
7) Don't over complicate AND THE WORST THING TO DO is just STOPPING when you're unsure or know your fucked up JUST KEEP DRIVING.

Not nearly as expensive as the industrial stuff but hey I have used it Michigan, California and Texas
Got a few years ago as a Cat5. Got Cat6 for my New House in Texas this august
In Michigan one winter the low was -12F, 3 feet of snow the whole day was sub zero and it literally was frozen some parts was under snow it had survived and operated fine. Moved to California. Fine. Moved to Texas the hottest day since September 2014 when I moved there was 107F again worked fine and mind you in direct sunlight and it being a black cable your mileage shouldn't be affected. (Yes I got the 300 Foot ran it from the security cam into a little drilled opening which is sealed then runs from the little space on roof to the nearest Cat5e port)
Update: Yes I have gotten this for 5 different houses on 5 occasions. 4 Times a cat5 and August 2016 I opted for cat6 for my new house

CrackheadKyle got a reaction from terrytek in Worst medical condition you've ever had?
Dude when I got contacts a few months ago I was like how the fuck am I going to stick this shit in my eye... a week later I got them in in 5 minutes using only a few trials... In August I can get both of 'em in first shot and have the whole process faster than I can take a piss. Point being just keep trying IT WILL feel weird but if you power through it will be better than looking like a nerd with glasses BUT who I am to speak I am a white dude blond hair blue eye and I look like the least likely person to need glasses so I hide my near nearsightedness with contacts just make sure they're in saline and in your case at night you wouldn't want an eye infection

The thing with that http://canada.newark.com/pro-power/cbbr6332/shielded-multipair-cable-4-pair/dp/60R4035 it will do better in the heat but in your cold climate it will suffer try to get something that will do better in cold like what I suggested the thing is it will never get 158F the hottest it will get I canada would likely be 100F even in direct sunlight that will not get any hotter than 120-130F but IT WILL get well below -4F or -20C in your area as you state

More like have and will always have and that is Type 1 Diabetes. I also wear contacts but those aren't bad easy to me actually and wear invisalign at night so my teeth stay straight and sexy but well worth it for sexy teeth.

What the hell we have the same CPU and I don't have that WAIT- you have a 1080 that IS either
A: A bottleneck and 1080 is too good for it
B: You 4790k is somehow just collapsing an going space cadet
Buddy I would advise going to a 1070 or making a brand new PC

CrackheadKyle got a reaction from Alexaldin in Asus Strix GTX 1070, what to do?
Yep just download couple of free uningine benchmarks from here https://unigine.com/en/products/benchmarks
do an initial test and note average temp, FPS, clocks speeds and just how well you felt it went then download this
free overclocker https://gaming.msi.com/features/afterburner you can raise power to 110% no sweat and raise core and
memory 50 mhz at a time then have the benchmarks run for a total of 15-20 minutes and if anything was unstable lower the
clock back, if you feel temps are too hot just simply adjust the fan curve to have it run faster at lower temps. do this until as I just
said about stability do it until you are unstable then adjust it back to where you are stable, relax this program won't let you do anything
that will kill your card. any other questions or want to see it in a video

CrackheadKyle got a reaction from i_build_nanosuits in GTX 980ti > GTX 1070
Yes sir, that appears to be an isolated test and the 1070 hasn't quite had optimal drivers so it's not being fully utilized but a couple weeks into June and the 1070 will have optimal drivers

CrackheadKyle got a reaction from Kingslayer Kyle in GTX 1070 or 1080 for 1080P 144hz?
GTX 1070 on a 1080p monitor 1080p would literally be a bottleneck for GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 can easily handle 1440p but since you want it at 144hz which means high framerate I think 1070 would do perfectly fine, check out the 1070 benchmarks on LTT it literally goes up to 150fps on some games at MAX settings amazing!

CrackheadKyle got a reaction from EmpiracyRyNiX in Old GTX 260?
first off HOLY $#!t A 260 INTEL INTEGRATED GRAPHICS RIVAL THAT but anyways well here are some ideas
- Cryptocurrency Mining
- DIY Household Project (Such as a NAS)
- Backup Computer
- Find a retro PC shop and sell it (they'll probably give you $20 maybe $30)
- Donate it to a scrap shop
- Try and sell it on ebay (Afterall people like retro stuff and you could probably gross $20 to $40)
- Display (hey afterall your card has a sexy lady on it )
- Throw it at a bird
- Use it as expensive toilet paper (be careful you'll probably cut your ass if your not careful)
- Abandon it
- Recycle it (Places such as Best Buy has a e-recycle bin)
