  1. Pretty much in the title, I'm looking for a new laptop for colege and programming. I have a couple of requirements: 1. Price is not an issue 2. Need as good of a CPU as possible 3. Battery needs to be able to go 6+ hours 4. Graphics Cards aren't required 5. Needs to be portable for college 6. Keyboard and Trackpad needs to be half decent and usable Anything else (sound, ports, etc) isn't a priority. Thanks in advance Laptops I have in mind rn, 1. Eluktroniks Mag 15 2. New Dell XPS 15 3. HP Spectre x360 15"
  2. I think the whole point of this post was that it was incorrect for Linus to say that everyone is on the spectrum. The op explained how this was incorrect and similar to a self-diagnosis, a big issue with mental disorders. Once again, the whole point of this post was the it is incorrect for Linus to say that everyone is on the spectrum. This is simply not true and could actually lead to many people misdiagnosing themselves or acting as though Autism is less debilitating than it actually is. I don't think the op is trying to get people to put Autism on a pedastal. He's just stating how Linus made an honest and careless mistake to say that everyone is on the Autism spectrum as this could lead others to see Autism as less debilitating that it actually is. Also, when I read this it felt like a very heartfelt post, and the fact that you're making the op sound like someone who's trying to show-off his disorder is completely uncalled for and unfair.
  3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azWsh6_d31k It's unlisted rn
  4. It occurs when I'm doing demanding tasks like gaming and having multiple videos running, and instead of using more CPU to load things faster, Task Manager shows that usage stays at ~20% and everything starts chugging and lagging like crazy.
  5. Yeah, it happens both when plugged and on battery power
  6. I've had this issue for a while now; randomly my laptop will suddenly cap CPU usage to 20% (~0.5Ghz) and stay there for minutes at a time. I only have this issue on Windows 10 as when I used Linux the issue was not prevelant. I also have found that none of my programs are the issue as even when I reformatted and created a fresh Windows install, I still encountered this issue randomly. The only useful piece of information I've found is that in Intel XTU I get notified that my laptop is Power Limit Throttling. I tried various things to fix this, followed various guides, but I still wasn't able to find a solution to the issue. If anyone knows what this is about, PLS HELP *Laptop is from 2016 and has not recieved any significant bios or other driver update since 2017, and this issue is relatively recent (~3 months)
  7. Does anybody have any interesting case recommendations for a resonable price (<$80)? I've been going through some, but nothing really compares to the NZXT and Phanteks ones for that price. If anybody has anything else of similar quality please link me to it, kind of tired of seeing the same cases everywhere.
  8. Try this? https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/321847/log-file-c-windows-system32-logfiles-srt-srttrail-txt. Otherwise google is your friend
  9. I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but if you declare 'mainVideoID' outside of the fetch, then you should be able to call it globally. It still returns 'undefined' but I don't think that's because something else as the variable should be global now. Try double-checking the youtube api documentation as you may have missed something.
  10. You can permanently remove them by doing something like this https://superuser.com/questions/1262225/how-to-remove-hide-title-bar-in-windows-10, or you can F11 but that'll put you into full-screen. Sadly, there is no way to hotkey the thing, so you'd have to constantly go into settings to toggle the bar
  11. Personally, I do think that the Zenfone 4 is the best choice at your budget. It's pretty much the best specs you can get at that price. However, if you can save up for a 5T or Essential phone, those would be significantly better. At your price range currently, it is the best. Unless you're going used, then it's probably a last gen phone like the S7
  12. Going to try to limit Laptop usage to just work and migrate all excess stuff like Netflix to only my phone. Don't know how well it'll work, but it seems interesting.

  13. Why not just create a shortcut to the file?
  14. This is just my thinking, but I do think that your CPU is the main bottle neck; however, I also think that your 3GB of vram might also be an issue since you said that you only drop fps during large batttle scenes.
  15. Got into floatplane.com by logging in with my ltt forum account! Is this an error? Lol, browsing site rn.

@Nicnac Use the LTT connect option and it should still work, since you will login to Linustechtips.com inside the popup window. Let me know if it's not working for you. (But it really should work)
