    Why Behringer?

I recently bought the Behringer U-PHORIA UM2 audio interface to connect a guitar to my pc inorder to use an amp sim. After figuring it all out it works very well but one thing doesn't make sense. Even though Behringer has a purpose built ASIO driver for this, there is no mention of it anywhere (on their website) but insted they want you to use asio4all. Sure it works well enough but if anyone has ever used it, you'll probably know that the way it works is that when you have an amp sim or something else running using asio4all, it takes such control of the interface that you can't output any other audio to it (for example if you're learning a song with the help of some interactive tabs, it's kinda helpful to be alble to hear them). With the purpose bult driver everything does, however, work as you'd expect: thanks to asio there is practically no delay and other programs can also output to the interface with no problems. So my question is, does anyone know why they do this? In my opinion it's just stupid that you have to spend hours upon hours googling this until you come across a youtube video where they mention that an actual driver exists. Seems kinda stupid for business to basially make their product seem worse than it actually is by not giving people the proper driver.
  2. So, I've been thinking of getting a new pc since my current one is really starting to show it's age when trying to play anything newish. My budget is going to be about 1500€ and I've been thinking ryzen 5 5600x and rtx 3070: Is this the best I can get for this price or is there better cpu/gpu combination. The computer will mainly be used for gaming and video editing. I also want to point out that the psu etc. are not any kind of final desicions, I just threw them there as a placeholders for prices.
  3. I took a look and couldn't find anything related to this. There wasn't much more than boot settings and something related to touchpad and some s3 state lid opening resume thing . Thanks for the suggestion anyways
  4. So, i have this rather annoying issue on my laptop (I don't remember the exact model but it's Acer Aspire S 13). The screen is automatically changing the brightness in the stupidest way possible. When there is something bright on the screen the brighteness goes up and when there is something dark, it dimms itself. This is super annoying because when you're watching something the screen keeps changing brightness constantly. I have turned off "Enable adaptive brightness" from power settings but it's still doing it. If anyone knows a way to fix this I'd be very grateful :).
  5. It makes way more sense to get a slim laptop with good battery life to school, especially since you have a gaming rig already. It is super annoying to run out of battery in the middle of a day and then drag a heavy and bulky laptop around.

  7. So, my computer won't stay in standby/sleep or in hibernation mode for even a second. As soon as it enters standby mode, it turns back on. According to event viewer USB Root Hub is waking the PC. How do I prevent it from doing that since there are no such thing in device manager? Also if it helps, this all started after the last big windows update..
  8. I just checked event viewer and it tells that -USB Root Hub is what's waking the computer. But the question is what is that and how do I prevent it from waking the PC
  9. I've tried everything that I've been able to find online and nothing has worked for me so that's why I'm asking if anyone here has any idea on why my PC won't go to sleep. Everything worked just fine until the latest big windows 10 update. After it my computer hasn't been able to go to sleep or hibernate and it's starting to get a little annoying... Basically what happens is as soon as fans stop spinning ang the pc is in sleep it turns back on and plays the sound that comes when you unplug something. After couple seconds (when it's back to the windows login screen) it makes the sound that plays when you connect a device. I have tried unpluggin everything except for mouse and it still does this! So, any help would be very much appreciated since I'm plain out of ideas at this point. Oh and by the way, windows can't even tell why it's unable to sleep:
  10. I personally use the pro version of MX Player and I think that it's the best video player for android
  11. This is some kind of emulator for xbox360: http://xenia.jp but I never got it to work quite right.
  12. That build looks good but I'd definately also get a normal hdd (at least 1tb) because 512gb runs out surprisingly quick since games take up quite a lot of space nowadays
  13. You should try resetting video output: http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/11436/playstation-3-how-to-reset-the-display-output-options-after-changing-video-cables/
  14. If you're using your monitor with hdmi or displayport cable your computer might start using it as a audio output. You can try to fix that by right clicking the sound symbol in task bar and selecting output devices (or something like that, I'm not sure what it's in english). In there, select the proper speakers and press set as default. It might keep your computer from switching the audio output to your monitor
  15. I actually used program called windirstat and was able to find couple large files I didn't need
  16. I think Vegas creates at least audio proxies but I can't find them anywhere
  17. I haven't cleared cmos (didn't know that was a thing) but I'll definately try that
  18. I guess I'll have to try to free some space. The thing with ram is that I used to have only 8gb and every time I was editing it maxed out. Now with 16gb doing same things before and some other stuff, it still never goes over 8gb which I don't understand.. but thanks for your reply, very informative
  19. No I don't because my gpu is so crappy that I couldn't ever profit out of it
  20. I checked all folders on C: and for example downloads folder didn't have anything in it (chrome always asks where I want to download and I always choose my D: drive.) I also wasn't able to find any other folder that had lot of stuff in it because I never save anything on that drive.. With mouse moving slowly I mean it starts lagging and jumping from place to place and then the whole computer freezes and screen turns black. Task manager shows 15,9gb of available ram but I dont understand why nothing ever takes any of the other half. If I have a lot of things open and play some game it sits at 7,9gb never using the other half In vegas there is a temp file folder setting, even though I've changed it to my B: drive, it still fills my C:drive for some reason.
  21. So, I have couple of problems with my pc (about 2 years old) and if someone knows how to fix any of them, I'd be very thankful. The biggest issue is lack of storage on my c-drive. The problem is just that I have about 5gb of files on it, windows 10 and about 20gb of programs. Everything should take about 60gb max from the 120gb ssd right? Well for some reason I only have about 1 gb free. What's taking all of my storage? The second problem is that every once in a while my mouse first starts moving very slowly, then it freezes and then my screen goes black. I have no idea what's causing that but it can't be overheating since nothing is running too hot. Third problem is that I have 16gb of ram but it never fills over 50%. It doesn't matter how many programs I have open or how much my computer would actually want to use ram it just doesn't go over 8gb.. The fourth problem is really not related to my pc but anyone know how to make it so that Vegas Pro 14 wouldn't put any temp files to c-drive. Evry time I open some big project in vegas, it immediatly fills the rest of my c-drive..
  22. My galaxy s3 from 2013 had some kind of face recogniton so yeah, I don't think it was "innovation" really
  23. I don't know for sure if this'll work http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-15-6-FHD-LED-MATTE-AG-LCD-DISPLAY-SCREEN-PANEL-FOR-MSI-GP62-6QF-1478FR-/272426080426?epid=1540014892&hash=item3f6ddc18aa:g:J5cAAOSwQJhUhbi0 but it is supposed to be panel for your laptop.
