I have all 8 populated with 4GB sticks of dominator platinum. All of which work fine just not in those 2 sockets.
Just put a water block on, but i never removed the CPU, although i have a feeling its been like this for a while without me noticing.

Will take the block off later and reseat the cpu.

Yep its the backplate, Anyone come up with a fix for it? The back of the card looks kinda gross without one on and the stock one is no longer compatible.

Take the mesh off and leave them in a container of this stuff over night: https://www.clrbrands.com.au/

Reapply black paint and you should be good as new.

Best way to measure between holes it to put screws in the 2 you are measuring, Then measure to the far side of both, Then subtract the thickness of one screw. That will leave you with center measurements.

Sorry about being a little late BTW...

This works, another option is in windows network adapter list if you select 2 of them and right click it will have a option to bridge connections which will all you to share the connection.

Goto the WIFI adapters settings and share it to the LAN network adapter.

Just to put this out there, the 1080 Ti will likely ALWAYS be the faster card clock for clock, esp if the Ti can hit 12GHz+ on the G5X.

Basically, the Titan is rendered absolutely useless, by far moreso than ever before.

The Titan XP looks cooler and comes with a premium feature: the DVI-D port. Thus why it is the double of the price.

OK, suggest new materials for batteries that doesn't cost a kidney, can be loaded a considerable ammount of times and is suitbale for mass production

    Are they triangles? Or stars?

If they're stars the screwdrivers you are looking for are called "Torx drivers"

All is well now, got into the installer loaded the driver and now its doing its thing.

Should have thought of using a different HDD though, That would have been a bunch easier.

This is the X99 Deluxe II, I believe the second generation X99 boards like this are designed to be Broadwell-E compatible at launch. they were re-designed with these new CPU's in mind.

Don't ask me why its not on their website yet... I don't work for Asus.

Why don't u cut it and tell us how it goes. My car can't fit into my garage cause the trunk is always sticking out. So I ask my buddies how I should go about this? They say park out outside or extend your garage. I decided to do it my way by sawing off my trunk. Now I can park into my garage. Yay!!!

I would suggest cutting the case before even thinking of cutting the board. But as long as there isn't any logic on that part of the board only various headers, You could cut it. Though don't be surprised if you kill a board or two trying to do that.
