Hey all!
So, i'm currently trying to put together plans for our summer build and upgrade for the server room at work but struggling for a couple of ideas when it comes down to a fully functional backup solution.
I'm considering building 2 x Storinators, using the "enhanced" version that 45 drives does, and filling it with 18 5TB drives in RaidZ2+0 (3 pools of 6 drives in freenas).
Now.... On to the actual backup software. I've been considering setting up a headless crashplan jail to use it as a backup destination, but wondering if anyone has any other ideas?
Ideally, i'll be backing up both system and data partitions from some servers/other NAS's, as well as documents from staff workstations (both windows and OSX).
So, does anyone have any examples of backup software that would work well in this scenario?
