  1. Right, I know they have the option for. a battery upgrade. And that's good to hear, wasn't sure if I was missing something.
  2. I just haven't seen any Legion 5s at that low of a price before. Also thanks for your help. Ended up picking up what you suggested.
  3. Hello, I was going to buy this for a little over a grand (USD) with warranty https://www.walmart.com/ip/Lenovo-Y540-15-15-6-FHD-Intel-Core-i7-9750H-NVIDIA-GeForce-RTX-2060-16GB-RAM-512GB-SSD-Black-Windows-10-81SX015GUS/921861606 ....... Then I found this crazy gem with three left, the same model but with a Ryzen 7 4800H and the GTX 1660TI FOR 665 WITH A THREE YEAR WARRANTY. I didn't want to pull the trigger because I wanted the 2060 really bad. But I didn't think it was worth that much more plus an inferior i7. So I pulled the trigger, I'm sitting here in awe, I'm not even sure if this was a legitimate deal, but it said all the specs in the title and it was straight from Walmart's website. Thoughts and opinions between these two laptops and their price points and if this was a scam seller on Walmart?
  4. For some reason I can’t find it on their page
  5. Awesome thanks! So you don’t think a 2060 card would be worth it?
  6. True thanks. Was looking at this one HIDevolution MSI GF65 Thin 9SEXR 15.6" FHD 144Hz, 2.6 GHz i7-9750H, RTX 2060, 8 GB 2666MHz RAM, 512 GB PCIe SSD, Authorized Performance Upgrades & Warranty - Newegg.com
  7. How much more would you spend on for a 2060 instead of a 1660ti?
  8. Is an RTX 2060 laptop worth it? Or should I go with a gaming laptop with a better cpu and build quality with a 1660ti?
  9. Right. The MSI has a 16 GB option for a little less than the Aorus. But I’ll definitely check it out
  10. Gigabyte Aorus 5 - 15.6" 144 Hz RTX 2060 Gaming Laptop - Newegg.com HIDevolution MSI GF65 Thin 9SEXR 15.6" FHD 144Hz, 2.6 GHz i7-9750H, RTX 2060, 8 GB 2666MHz RAM, 512 GB PCIe SSD, Authorized Performance Upgrades & Warranty - Newegg.com Looking at these two laptops. Anyone have a preference? I'm using it for college and gaming. Thanks!
  11. Hello, my mid 2010 is able to load an OS i can either do internet recovery and it loads in but then while installing it gets stuck halfway or 3/4th of the way through. or i can use a boot drive and the same thing happens. I've switched out ram and even the hard drive. Not sure what to do.
  12. That makes a lot of sense. Used to be owned by a college student. Anyways, thanks. It’s too bad there isn’t a cheaper replacement. The screens online are worth more than the laptop haha
  13. That's what I thought too. But when It's on it doesn't affect the display at all other than being able to see the small dots on the screen. And possibly, I'm not sure.
  14. Hello, I recently bought this pretty beat up mid 2011 MacBook Air. It has this really weird thing with the screen going on. At first I thought it was dirt or something but then I couldn’t take it off. It feels like it’s a small dent. Or maybe it’s just super stuck grime? Is there anyway to fix these little spots? The only thing I’ve searched that looks similar is anti glare but that started in 2012. Thanks for the help!
  15. No cables loose. Which ones would be loose that I’d need to check? And it hasn’t crashed recently so I don’t have any pictures. I do know that one of the crashes was because of bad drivers. But then another one said it was a hardware issue.
  16. I made a post about this before. But it stopped after I let it sit, it's happening again now.
  17. I can usually pinpoint why windows won’t work or hardware. But I can't figure it out. I have a brand new computer with the ryzen 2200g, B450M pro4 mobo, 500 Gb SSD, CX 450 watt psu and about a month in or so I just get random blue screens while searching the internet. Not sure what’s going on and it happens at random intervals. Usually, if I left the computer sit for a few days the blue screens stop for awhile. Then they start happening again and they progressively got worse. Until I cannot even start up the computer without it bluescreening. Additionally, the blue screen error code is different almost every time.
  18. Yeah the weird yellow piece. But I’ll do that right now and redo all the standoffs and screws
  19. So I took the mobo out of the case with the gpu and the display turns back on. Maybe the gpu isn’t fully in when in the case?
  20. There’s no gold showing other than the end of the gpu. But that’s normal. I’m probably going to take it out of the case and reseat all my standoffs.
  21. I’ll do that soon. I’m not home atm. But I was thinking that maybe the gpu isn’t plugged into its pcie slot all the way. Because the “lock” that clicks in the gpu is broken off. I’m not sure how I’d fix that or if that is even the issue.
