  1. [OP REPLY] - Sorry to hear that...I do read some user comments where their components were DOA . So it seems to worth to pay extra money to have proper and legit manufacture warranty to avoid any issue during RMA. Yeah that's true which is why I got an air cooler. But now feel like should have looks at those attributes such as CFM and TDP before proceeding to purchased stage. The deal I got made its bad performance with unlocked processors hidden away from my view point. Well things happens haha... Thanks and Regards, Naris Pillai.
  2. [OP REPLY] - Agree. That was the reason why I went with Air Cooler over AIO earlier. My current plan is to use this CM cooler for a good amount of time and then upgrade to something good like Noctua NH-D15 or Dark Rock Pro 4, as selling it now would hurt my budget. Hard to find a buyer for cooler in here at the moment. [OP REPLY] - Yeah. I've decided to go for a new one instead. Looking at KINGSTON SSD KC2500 1TB which seems to have somewhat similar read and write speed as the Micron. About RM160 ish difference between them. Thanks and Regards, Naris Pillai.
  3. [OP REPLY] - In that case, I would need to sell this off to get a new one. Probably, I might go foe a second-hand AIO. Is it fine to go with secondhand AIO? Which one would you recommend? AIO or Air Cooler for my scenario. Im seeing a deal on FB marketplace for this model : Liquid Cooler Silverstone PF240 ARGB for RM250 with warranty till May next year. [OP REPLY] - There are listing for this SSD in some market place too around RM300. He stated it as "new", but sure, I'll try to run CDI to validate it. Thanks and Regards, Naris Pillai.
  4. Thanks for your comment. Plan is in place. Probably in Q4 this year. Regards, Naris Pillai.
  5. First of all, Thank you for writing up a detailed yet precise comments for all my questions and decisions. It really helped me out. Below are my replies for your previous statement. [OP Reply] - Yeah you're right. Seems like it do struggle under heavy load. Test thread : CM Hyper-212-LED-Turbo-ARGB Review & Another one but slightly lower model. Do you think it is good for now without overclocking or suggesting me to directly put it out for sale and get a better one? [OP REPLY] - Unfortunately, the seller have sold his PSU(the Corsair). I can still lookout for similar brand and watt PSU then. 650w it is. [OP REPLY] - Well the KINGSTONE is here because if I purchase through my workplace, they do give out hefty discount on it(Like somewhere around 100USD max). For ADATA, I'll need to get it through online shopping sites which expected to save me about (47.73USD max). REgarding the mobo, I got the PRIME Z690-P WIFI model which uses DDR5(not the D4 model). Again, I had to get this model as I was getting good discount on it. ADATA Kit it is. [OP REPLY] - Those model which you've suggested above is almost 2x the price of the one I shared(Micron-RM275) in my country. Besides, they seems to have somewhat similar performance. The only con I can see for the Micron model is that, it does not come with valid warranty. The seller provide 2 month personal warranty. Yet to lower the price as of now. Regards, Naris Pillai.

[GPU] Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti (OC) - Manufacturer could be ASUS/Colorful Here is where I need some suggestion. 5. [PSU] Should I opt-out for a second hand PSU or get a new one? Got a good deal for a Corsair 650W PSU(Product Link). Still left 9 years warranty. [SOLD] But if there's any, should I go for it? Should I go for a 750w instead? I'm planning to pick NVIDIA RTX 3060ti later. The manufacture site recommends 650w PSU. I wonder if that is enough as I may potentially try overclocking all (RAM, GPU, and CPU) at some point. Feel free to drop if you have any recommendation. Planning to go with this - 1stPlayer 750w GOLD FULL MOD PSU [My Pick] 6. [RAM] Which one of these do you see have better value? Hope to get some suggestions for PSU, RAM, and STORAGE. Thanks.
  7. Hi. For the past few weeks, I've been seeing strange green pixels appearing on my screen when I'm in a gray or black background(Noticeable in Boot Screen too). The pixels colors aren't too bright but it is noticeable. Ivetried pixel fix videos, updating all my driver but the issue still persist. I've tried to search through Google but since I'm not really sure about the issue, I came back to my start point. Wonder if anyone has faced this issue before. p.s I changed the Motherboard a few months ago through Dell due to water spill. (If it helps...) It was fine until a few weeks ago, the green pixel started to show up. I've attached a photo of how it looks. Thanks in advance.
  8. How about the warranty? In case if you got a major problem, where do you send you notebook to?Singapore?!The reason I'm not going for Illegal is due to two main reasons: 1.Warranty=Here in Malaysia, Illegear shop is in Selangor which is 360.6 km from where I live. 2.Brand=I don't really know much about this brand. But, things I like in this brand notebook is the level of customizing and the prize.(price for performance).
  9. Wow!!!! I guess,I should sell my grandparent's house to get this notebook(if I want it match my preferences).LOL
  10. Well in this case(Thinkpad p50) I prefer 17-inch notebook only because I mention it earlier this will be my notebook forever so I wanted it bigger(Bigger is better).Been using 15-inch laptop for more than 3 years, and I'm done with it. About the sound, the reason I said that("Acer Predator 17(has 4 speakers),it sounds much better ") because I played songs on both of them, side by side, and listen to the music on after another.Acer Predator does sound good as from all the laptop that I've tested.
  11. Any suggestion on that type of laptops?
  12. But when I hand on the Acer Predator 17(has 4 speakers),it sounds much better than the Asus ROG G752JY due to speaker placement(behind the notebook screen).Asus notebook surface has more aluminium look and feels which don't really show minor scratches, unlike the Acer Predator.Again, by future proof I mean software compatible with the upcoming software.Battery life wise,of course, ultrabook give more juice than these two notebooks, but performance wise these laptop outruns ultrabooks (more to performance). Thanks, Man!Peace!
  13. Yeah about that...I don't game much. What I usually do is coding and sometimes video editing.Even Acer Predator 17 has G-Sync but only for G-Sync external monitor.G-Sync not really matters my daily work, the important things are the one that I mention on top there like: 1.FAST(every aspect) 2.Capable of doing heavy tasks. 3.Good Battery Life 4.Future proof(Software) 5.Good Built Quality 6.Good Sound Quality As from my research Acer Predator 17 has a very good sound but has a plastic with a matte finish(ain't nobody got time to clean that greasy spot on the laptop every day)[more to maintenance free]!!And the keyboard with always on macro key lights and one brightness settings,God.... On the other side,Asus won the material and coating type section but their notebook sound quality is too bad and it is more expensive than the Acer Predator 17 which has 2x SDD space than the Asus notebook. FAQ: 1.Question:Then why do you want a laptop/notebook with 980m in it if you don't game much? Answer:Future Proof.Maybe in the future, I might be doing more video editing ,rendering, converting and much more.Gaming too,but not too intense(Come on,2000$ laptop to work only?H*ll No!). Passed by this Thread.Have a look. https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/3zg2dd/which_one_do_you_concider_to_be_the_better_option/ p.s Thanks for immediate answers and reply guys.Peace!
