  1. I have, and it's entertaining. It's my guilty pleasure TV show, but started watching it to better my Norwegian (I live in the US). I know they want to do an American adaptation, but I don't think it will translate well. Much like how the amazing Bron | Broen adaptation failed here. For those you want to watch it: https://tv.nrk.no/serie/skam
  2. I work extensively with commercial grade Leica and Riegl LiDAR systems for work. A Tech Quickie on LiDAR would be interesting, as people ask me about them all the time and are quite curious about what they do and how they work.
  3. The diameter of power button on the outside is 1.25 cm or 0.5 inch
  4. Can confirm, as my GPU was reaching 75-80c while under load before the case modifications. Now it reaches a maximum of 65c without the top fans blowing on it. However, having my motherboard's orange LEDs resemble an oven's heating element is the icing on the cake and continuously makes me grin. Thanks!
  5. I decided to go with a Noctua NH-D9L instead of the Corsair H50. As a result, I got three Noctua NF-F12 case fans instead of the three Fractal Design fans in my original plan. The PSU was Installed, moved the SSD forward and removed the RAM heat spreaders. I just used my current EVGA GTX 950 GPU for this build, but I will likely be updating it after I'm done with custom cabling/cable management which will be next.
  6. The only thing I ever won was a SEGA from a Burger King Giveaway when I was a kid. I don't usually apply for giveaways though, probably less than ten in my entire life.
  7. I hope this doesn't come true, but wouldn't be surprised if it does. Is there a way to get a refund? If not, I can practice my argument and persistence skills with customer service. In the mean time, downloading popular Linux distros as a fallback.
  8. I got the same one with the same problem. However, I think the biggest problem is that it's hard to fly with my phone. You get the computer dongle? I want to do a work around so I can fly it with my controller.
  9. Just an Airbourne Sensor Operator who sits in the back operating various types of equipment and sensors in them, but who occasionally gets chance to get behind the controls (Fixed Multi-Engine, but I've always had a fascination with Rotary). I also hope to get a Rotary-Wing PPL one day, then an Instrument Rating, Commercial, CFI and so on.
  10. Thanks! I think I mixed the two up, my bad.
  11. You're right you don't need a PPL or commerical with a rating...yet. However, you do need a remote airman certificate with UAS rating which is less expensive than a PPL, but still costs some cheddar regardless. Some don't find the cost worth it, like me who will stay with recreational flying for now. All my experienced pilot co-workers complain about it, but they're use to doing small commercial mapping jobs with no regulation or oversight. They also don't like it when the rules change. Got a link to the video? Sounds interesting.
  12. You beat me to it. I usually do 4-5-6-1-2-3-7, but this sounds slightly better. Starting with the originals are important due to the reveals.
