NVIDIA recommends a PSU of minimum 500W (if I recall right), but that is not at all necessary. 430W is perfectly fine, unless you've overclocked you CPU to 5GHz!

Wait for the GTX 1060. Also compare it with the RX 480. I personally don't recommend you buying a 970 right now.

If it doesn't fit in the hole, don't force it. That philosophy is useful for lots of things.  

It doesn't affect performance that much but in really high resolution scenarios it will improve frame rate and stability just a little

You can get a vga to dvi, but make sure that you don't have anything that could cause interferences, as you will be using analog signal and not digital

Athlon is faster on multi-core tasks and pentium on single core tasks. If he's going to game on it, take the pentium and oc it to 4.5 or 4.6 ghz .

This will be my first build with a custom water loop. I was lucky enough to pick up two rads, a 360MM and an 80MM thick 240M, along with a D5 pump, CPU waterblock and watercooling case (Can't remember the name at the moment) for $200.

Since I assume you prefer small keyboards but I haven't found any 60% kbd with price under 100$, I'll strongly recommend you going into the Ozone Strike Battle, which is a TKL kbd, but still has arrow and upper keys. It includes full Cherry MX keys and, at least in Europe, it's 80 bucks + shipping. By the way, I couldn't find anyone in amazon, so I can't give you a link (cheapest is second-hand and it's almost 200€ + 100€ shipping WTF).
