RMA.
You receive an RMA, Return Materials Authorization.
"I'm going to RMA it" isn't grammatically correct.
I'm old, get off my lawn.

NTDaws reacted to Oshino Shinobu in Need a batch file to restart ethernet adapter
Will probably need to be run as admin. If still going through task scheduler, tick the option to run with highest privileges
EDIT: Also make sure the adapter name/number hasn't changed. Might be different after reinstalling

NTDaws got a reaction from LpoolTech in Best controller for PC?
Xbox controller is the best option. I would rather have full support for a controller.

NTDaws got a reaction from Beerzerker in What Thermal Paste or Liquid Metal do you use for you're CPU or GPU?
Genuine question for everyone. What paste or liquid metal do you use?
Personally I use Noctua NT-H1. Has always worked great for me.

NTDaws got a reaction from 2DPrinter in Keep RTX 3070TI or trade it?
Definitely hang onto it bud. Graphics cards are scarce, and you are VERY lucky to have got one. Treasure it 🙂

NTDaws reacted to Mister Woof in Will overclocking a i9-10850K on a 650 Watt Power Supply trip the overload?
From my personal experience, anything over 1.25 load volts is very difficult to keep cool with ANYTHING in a full stress load. And a 240mm is generally not better than a D15.
A big radiator will get you a few degrees cooler, but more importantly, will take longer to soak and hopefully your task is done before that happens.
In regards to your power supply, you'll unlikely see a scenario where your CPU and GPU both are hitting synthetic loads, so it probably will be fine.
Back to your original post - I just wanted to temper your expectations with thermal performance.

NTDaws reacted to Senzelian in what background should i use for a oled to help stop burn in or image retention
Either something that is constantly moving around, or an entirely white or black one.
And then you also want to hide your desktop icons, otherwise those will burn in. But then again, the best thing would be to simply turn the screen off when not in use. Why would you even leave your desktop open for more than a few seconds? I rarely even see mine. I already forgot what wallpaper I even have 😛

NTDaws reacted to Dedayog in My TCL TV is garbage and they won't let me return it.
I've got a 55", my gf has the 50" and 4 other people I know have them. All without issue. Are you watching it as a monitor on your PC? How does it look just streaming Netflix or Amazon?
Very helpful, and the reviews across the board for TCL are very good. For the price, it's a great option.
For the price, what did you expect?

NTDaws got a reaction from whm1974 in When charging my dead iPad with an ATX PSU, the wires got very hot. Why?
maybe cause its a computer power supply of how many watts?

NTDaws reacted to Cool_Evlo in Is it a bad idea since the gpu prices at my region is unbelievably high right now and I'm willing to wait till the whole mining scenario is over
Please for the love of god DO NOT get a GT 710, get the 10700, I'm 99% sure those integrated graphics are better than the 710.
The 710 is a waste of money, it sucked when it released, please get at least a GT 1030... anything is better than a GT 710.

NTDaws got a reaction from Bartus in RTX 2060 - 1080p 144Hz or 1440p 144Hz
You won't get a full 144hz on most triple A games. At most you will get over 80 fps at 1440p. If you're willing to sacrifice refresh rate, get the 1440p. But if you prefer refresh rate over quality, then get the 1080p.

NTDaws reacted to Rex Hite in What was you're first experience with a computer?
My first memorable experience was a Commodore PET at school. We had to write our programmes and save them to tape cassette and hand them in to the teacher.
Later my second notable experience was when my dad got a 286 PC and was installing something called an "Operating System" from floppy disks and I was confused because I thought all home computers were like the PET. It made no sense to me.
My third experience was when I got a Mac Beige G3 tower and I finally understood what a useful interface could do.

NTDaws got a reaction from soldier_ph in How do you manage your school email and your personal email tabs?
I usually just create a exchange user account on my pc. Keeps everything separate, and I still get administrator control of my account.

NTDaws got a reaction from Doug_Dangger in 16:9 vs 21:9
It genuinely depends on the games you play. I have a 21:9 but I am going back to use 16:9. Only cause I enjoy it more. But 21:9 is great if you play shooters such as Call of Duty, CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege, etc. 16:9 is perfect for the average gamer. I go for refresh rate personally.
