  1. 17.5cm right? it should be good then. If you use a small mouse, your aim improves.
  2. Why not get the FK-2 then? It's small and lighter than EC2-A which allows it to be the best performing zowie mice. ZA series sort of forces you to place your hand in a particular way.
  3. I'm guessing you're using the Rival 300 and the reason for it being uncomfortable is its massive size? I tried the Rival 300 and although it was a comfortable mouse, it was far too large for me and had to press the mouse button behind the mouse scroll wheel which made it very difficult to press. If you don't need a "pure performance" mice like Zowie or Finalmouse, i recommend the Logitech G303, Razer Deathadder Chroma, Mionix Castor
  4. Zowie mice, are just made for pure sensor performance. While the build quality is good, its not the best, it certainly doesn't come close to feeling the "best" and there are no other functions, such as RGB lighting etc. But then again, it was made for competitive esports, for pros, like finalmouse. Personally i like finalmouse tournament pro, its extremely good, like zowie, its on the fly, no gimmick just plastic shell and a high end performance sensor. While build quality depends on the unit that you receive, generally its not as good as zowie. BUT the performance of the finalmouse is a lot better. Unless i'm playing CSGO competitively, i generally tend to not use my Zowie EC2-A or Finalmouse Tournament Pro, and i use my mionix castor or g502.
  5. I would like to say Steelseries Rival 300 but that thing is massive. If your hand is small, then you will have difficulty pressing the buttons. So for a lighter mouse, I would recommend the ASUS ROG Gladius, its shape is very similar to deathadder, while also having the option to swap out the omron switches and also a higher quality than deathadder. G502 is a better mouse than Gladius and Rival but its very heavy and i find it impossible to game with it except for MOBA games.
  6. What's your budget and what kind of games do you play (i'm assuming FPS if you're fast spinning 180 degrees)
  7. I've personally owned cherry reds, both cherry and razer greens, and cherry blues. I just haven't tried the browns yet. Unfortunately i'm currently living in a place where stores don't sells mechanical keyboards so i can't test them out. I also cannot order a switch tester as there is no means to have it shipped here.
  8. Unfortunately, I don't have the tools to re-solder or the knowledge to do this.
  9. Would you say your browns were defective or just very easily worn down from use? What switch would you personally recommend then? After browsing through the internet, like OP i want to try get Corsair Strafe which comes in Reds, Browns and Blues
  10. Well i'm slightly leaning towards the browns as people are saying they have less inconsistency than blues. So how do they feel? Compared to reds and blues?
  11. I know and the sound doesn't bother me. I like it
  12. So i'm back on the hunt for a new tactile, clicky keyboard. I would like to stick with Cherry switches no Kailh switches. I'm browsing the market for a good keyboard with either a cherry blue or browns. I previously bought a cherry blue switch keyboard and few of the keys (like 2 or 3) felt inconsistent with the rest of the keys, they would feel tactile but slightly mushy and not as sharp and crisp sounding, and they wouldn't make that crisp click sound the rest of the keys were making. This inconsistency really irritated me so i got it replaced, and the 2nd one had same problems on different keys. I got that refunded and now i'm back to my ducky with reds. I heard that its normal for blues to have that inconsistency feeling. So my experiences with cherry blues haven't been great but i'm still willing to have another with them because its feeling. However, i'm also considering cherry browns, these switches i haven't used before so i don't know how they compare with the cherry blues. I'm also not sure if browns have that generic inconsistency click issue blues have but if they don't i would be preferring the browns over blues. So i need help from someone who has can compare these 2 switches, which feels better and if browns doesn't have the inconsistency problem.
  13. This was the problem for me as well on my keyboard as well, i really hated it being inconsistent with the rest of the keys. I got mine replace, which had the same problem. Now even though i absolutely love blue switches i'm staying away from them right now and using a red switch. Once i got used to the reds, i really like them as well, i am actually grateful at the lightness of the key press. I'm thinking of trying brown's but i'm not sure because they might have the same problem. So if anybody knows if this problem is apparent only on the blues and not on browns, please let me know
  14. So new Cherry MX Speed switches are available on Corsair K70 RGB and apparently it feels similar to Reds. Is the Speeds a definite upgrade and better than the Reds? Or is there no specific reason to go for the new Speeds over the Reds other than it being a new switch?
  15. On Amazon, there is a Corsair Strafe RGB with Cherry MX Blues available. Model CH-9000120-NA. Is this an older version of the Corsair Strafe RGB 2016? I thought RGB Blue switches were discontinued on K series RGB as they had issues or were they fixed? I really want the Blue switches but i probably won't buy these if these are the older version with RGB Cherry MX Blue issues the K series had.
  16. Wanting Strafe because of Cherry MX Blues, but also wanting X due to its aluminium metal plate construction.
  17. Currently on the market for a new mechanical keyboard. I love the tactile bumps of Cherry MX Blues, so i will preferably like them. I will have to purchase from Amazon. Can't find Corsair K70 RGB with cherry mx blues so thats sad. Options right now are the Corsair Strafe RGB with cherry mx blues (they have a plastic build which aren't as attractive as K70) or Razer Blackwidow X Chroma with Razer Greens (razer infamous with poor quality). If anyone has a Corsair Strafe RGB, are they good? with the plastic build, is the quality good?
  18. Yes i could refund my keyboard for that. However, i thought the K70 RGB with Cherry MX Blues were discontinued after the RGB Cherry MX Blue switches had issues. Would this be the updated fixed switches that can be found inside the STRAFE RGB?
  19. True. I guess i will have to send it back and wait for a month for the new unit to arrive. I got this because it looked really nice. If there was a K70 RGB with Cherry MX Blues, then i wouldve gotten those.
  20. Well to be fair, my previous 2013 blackwidow with cherry blues didn't have any problems and the blackwidow X looked really nice
  21. So i recently bought the new Razer Blackwidow X Chroma, but as soon as i open and start typing, i immediately realize that the 'f' key feels different from the rest and also sound different. It feels mushy and i can feel hardly any tactile feedback on it, very little but not like the other keys. If you press it slowly then you can feel the tactile bump and the click sound but if you type regularly or fast, it feels like a cherry mx red, linear. It's not extremely significant as i know that not all keys feel same, some might be more tactile that others but this seems far too linear, even though you can feel the tactile bump when you press it slowly. Is there a problem with the switch? Would it affect the longevity of the keyboard/switch? I am curious because if i was to get this replaced it would take nearly 1 month for me to get my new unit.
