  1. I have cherry reds, blues, speeds, browns. i really like the cherry blues and using a shops credit i have, i've purchased the corsair k70 lux rgb with cherry blues and corsair strafe rgb with cherry blues and both of them had really bad inconsistent switch problem, so i returned them, so i still have the credit. I really want a switch similar to blue so i was thinking of Kaihl's because holy damn they are so much cheaper. And i'm willing to use the Kailh blue's over cherry reds or browns if they are consistent. All i want from a blue switch, kaihl or cherry, is that the switch feels like blues and they are consistent.
  2. If your a real competitive FPS gamer (as in like enter tournaments and stuff) then try find a mice with the 3366/3360 sensor, they are absolutely amazing. I recommend Logitech G303. If your just a normal gamer, then pick a mice that suits your hand grip and size, having a small mice is ok, but if its too big for you, it becomes really uncomfortable.
  3. Best mice would for FPS for me is Logitech G303, best all rounder mice for me is Logitech G502. Best mouse that shows its RGB would be either Mionix Castor, Razer Deathadder Chroma or Corsair M65 RGB Pro. Pick a mice that fits your hand grip, All the mice i have listed have excellent performance and if your not a competitive gamer then shape would be the most important thing to consider.
  4. The Rival 300 is a nice mice, but it is absolutely massive, i cannot use it with my 18cm hands. As you have mentioned above, some G303 do have sensor rattle issues, most cases they do then not. While some say Logitech has fixed this issue with their new batches, Logitech never publicly announced that they have. My G303 has a slight rattling sensor but its tracking is 100% accurate with no issues at all. G303's may have rattle but it varies with some rattling more than others, but while they do rattle, most of them don't have an issue with tracking or performance. I just used my Zowie EC2-A to play CSGO for the past 4 days, and today i went back to my G303 and i immediately noticed how much better i played with it. Also majority of the G502 won't have issues with the buttons wearing down. There may be some but of course all the G502's cant be made perfectly. I would say there would be less chance of G502's button producing double click issues than the Steelseries buttons or Zowie. G303 is my favourite mice, due to it being light and small so i can aim better, also helped by its amazing sensor, its the most accurate and best sensor in the world for me. It beats the 3988 imo.
  5. Zowie are priced high because they are rather a famous brand within the CSGO community. They have a well optimized sensor for accuracy for games like CSGO. As for their build quality, its controversial. Zowie EC2/1-A is meant for palm grip and is a fairly safe shape and is very comfortable. I doubt many people find this mouse shape uncomfortable to grip. But for that price you can go for better built mice (imo) such as Logitech. I don't know where a G502 can show wear, except the side grips, which it doesn't. It has a plastic coating on top and a plastic/metal scroll wheel, you can easily wipe the fingerprint off left on the g502. However, while G502 is a very good mouse, if its for CSGO, i wouldn't recommend it as it is far too heavy. Go for something like G303 (same sensor as G502) or G402 (old but still one of the best sensor ever created with increased performance). Also EVGA Torq X5 (very responsive sensor and similar performance sensor as G303/G502's sensor) for $50. I play CSGO SMFC/GE with Logitech G303 and everything else with G402. My Zowie EC2-A is rotting away somewhere.
  6. There are no mechanical keyboards that are chiclet keyboard. The Razer Deathstalker is a membrane keyboard, the same keyboards used in laptops and Mac keyboards. If you want a chiclet then get one from Mac. If you want to get a mechanical keyboard then get used to a full size height keyboard as mechanical switches are much better than membrane/chiclet keyboards.
  7. Please share your experiences of using Kaihl switches as i am very interested, especially Kaihl Blues.

    FPS Mouse

Finalmouse is a good mouse for FPS, but i wouldn't say they are worth it for the price. They are made cheaply with just a good optimized sensor for FPS games. If you have a $100 budget then, Zowie EC or FK series (depending on your hand size and grip) FK generally might be better for FPS since its lighter than EC. Logitech G303 (most accurate sensor) if you can get used to the shape. EVGA Torq X5 (has the most responsive sensor). I play CSGO on SMFC/GE level and i can recommend that Logitech G303/402, Zowie EC2-A are very good mice for FPS since i have them and use them. Although i would have to say Logitech seems to feel better built. Most CSGO pros are using Zowie or Logitech mice now.
  9. Lux is just the newer K70 where they fix the flickering lighting of the old K70 RGB, they also have the pass through and have the strafe key caps with the gamer font (which i personally hate) but the K70 is the better choice as it has a pass through and they fix the flickering lighting problem while being $10 cheaper than the normal one. As for keys, i personally like the Blues, because both the feeling and the sound of them are so satisfying, most people would agree that they are the nicest feeling switches but many people hate the loud clicking sound it makes, just because its so loud, but i personally don't mind and i like it. If you're going to but a K70 with Red's just get the MX Speed switch in the K70 rapidfire, period. As for browns, i initially found them to be my most hated key as i was previously using Blues and Reds, and Brown's just felt like a mix between both, like it wasn't particularly satisfying as blues and not as fast as reds, they felt muddy and it felt confusing. However, after getting used to them, i prefer them over Reds. I have Reds, Browns, Blues, and Speeds, and i think Speeds are the best switch but my favourite switch is the Blues. Its your preference, there are different things they are each individually good at. Blues for typing, Reds for gaming, Browns for both gaming and typing, Speeds feel like Red's but much smoother to press and for some reason lighter.
  10. I'm a palm and claw hybrid. Using Zowie EC2-A but right click has a problem, I have used Razer Deathadder before and that was far too large for me to use.
  11. If its FPS, then neither, both are far too heavy to comfortably use to aim. Of course unless you are a high dpi/cpi player that does not play CSGO.
  12. SS Rival 300, is a decent mouse, but is only meant for people with huge hands, atleast 19 cm. Logitech's G502 isn't a good FPS mouse, its an excellent mouse but its weight (which is really heavy, you can really feel the weight) doesn't let it be a good or comfortable for FPS. G303 is one of the best mice i have ever used, its light and very precise (GeT_RighT uses this probably as well as some other pros that i'm not interested in) however, main problem is the shape, i'm alright with it but it still isn't extremely comfortable to use. Also if your going for the G303, care for the sensor rattle issues. My first unit didn't have this problem but my second unit did, if its not too serious of a rattle then there shouldn't be any performance issues but some people have received extremely bad issued ones which made the cursor wobble every time you moved it. Rare to get one of those but it seems most G303 have the rattle issues to some degree, some not as bad as others. G402 or SS Rival 100 would be the mice i would recommend, the shape is fairly safe and performance is good. Unless your going to be playing at a very competitive level then the sensor on these mice are more than good. Both mice have good mouse button clicks and are decently light, although the SS Rival 100 is lighter than G402 to notice the difference quite easily. In terms of build quality, i own the G402 and I really like the build quality, no rattle at all, satisfying clicks, feels solid. SS Rival 100, my friend uses it and i have used it frequently as well, i would say even though the Rival 100 has a smooth rubber coating on the top, it does feel cheaper than the G402 but it is still lighter so preference there.
  13. I have tiny 17.5~18 cm hands, do you think the M65 will be too wide for me to comfortably hold? As for the 3988's smoothing, it does not really bother me as i use 800 dpi/cpi.
  14. Corsair M65 Pro vs EVGA Torq X5? Both have same Omron mouse button rated at 20 million clicks Corsair uses 3360 sensor EVGA uses 3388 sensor EVGA is lighter (85g) but Corsair (135g) has aluminium build Price is the same Making a choice is hard so i would like some opinions please
  15. Actually might just go ahead and purchase another Cherry Red switch on the Corsair K95 RGB for $130 new on Amazon. Even though i don't particularly like the linear feel of Reds compared to Blues. Still a cheap grab i reckon.
  16. I'm looking for a new keyboard that i will be using for game/typing. I have concluded that i would only like the Cherry MX or Romer G switches. I do have some Cherry Switch KB but I have never tried the Romer G switches but i am seeing very good reviews for them. I'm also willing to trust the quality of Romer G, as they are Japanese Omron manufactured. What i would consider most important for me is the satisfying feeling of the switches and the consistency in the actuation force of the keys (My OCD). I have heard in terms of build quality, Romer G seems to be superior to Cherry, with less inconsistency and wobble but i have no idea how the Romer G feels. My favorite switch is the Cherry MX Blue but the easiness of the Cherry Blue to go wrong and have inconsistency in both the tactile feel and the clicking sound makes me shy away from them and look for a different switch. It would be great if people who have had experience with both Cherry switches and Romer G would comment on the feeling of the Romer G switches to give me an idea of them in comparison to Cherry. Logitech G810 ($130) CM Storm Masterkeys S Tenkeyless ($135)
  17. I am using the ASUS ROG G752 and i have to use a mechanical keyboard to game with it. I just cannot game on a laptop keyboard anymore. But then again i use an external monitor as my main screen that is connected to my laptop which is my second screen. But even if i don't game on an external monitor, i still have to use a mechanical keyboard.
  18. Sure, it the K70 suits your needs go for it, its really good keyboard but i find performance between MX Speed or MX Blue not different at all. Playing SMFC rank. Also remember there are other keyboards that are better than K70, eg, Ducky Shine 5, Cooler Master Masterkeys
  19. Well then you could either buy a wrist rest or purchase the K70. The K70 wrist rest is amazing and feels superb but its not as big as the wrist rest you can buy. As for the switches, i would have no gripe about either one, they both function well.
  20. Best option would be to get audiophile headphone and a microphone. However, if you cannot be bothered, then for a gaming headset, there is only 1 option. Hyper X Cloud 1/2. They are pretty much the only option for a gaming headset. Their sound quality is the best, its super comfortable and high quality (of course this is against the other gaming headset). Razer Kraken is no where as good as these, the only headset that comes close to being as good as these are the Steelseries Siberia V2.
  21. Well, sure if you find your keyboard uncomfortable and you have to money to spend for a different switch that does about the same function. If you genuinely hate your keyboard then sure its worth but otherwise i personally don't find it worth. The MX Speed switches are fantastic but in CSGO i don't see any difference in performance against my MX blues, browns or reds. As for typing, i don't like to type with these switches. The actuation force is supposed to be same as MX Reds but it feels much lighter than reds so i make random typos (probably me not being used to the MX Speeds) and i'm a MX Blue master race person. However, i can say the Speeds are great if you can get used to them. As for the switch in keyboard, i personally don't find it worth if you don't have any complaints about the current keyboard you're using.
  22. Also to add, selling your keyboard for 2nd hand means selling it for nearly 50% of the price you bought it. The K70 Rapidfire is $170, spending $70~80 ish after selling your mechanical keyboard for a different mechanical keyboard is frankly not worth.
  23. Its not really worth it. Mechanical keyboards are mechanical keyboards. As yours rather recent its good enough. Im typing this with my K70 rapidfire and to be honest, the 1.2mm actuation distance doesn't affect much. It certainly does feel faster than Cherry MX Reds but in terms of performance in game, not that much of a difference. People always bad talk razer switches and there are reasons, but its not that bad and its still a mechanical switch and will perform the same if not better than cherry switches.
  24. you can get some RGB mech keyboards for under a $100 but they won't be good and it won't be RGB. Good RGB mech keyboards tend to be $140+. If you're fine with anything thats RGB then just find anything on Amazon that you think looks decent. They are all gonna be the same anyway and break the next day.
  25. If your looking for the best "budget" mouse, then Steelseries Rival 100. It isn't the best but its the best budget gaming mice, good for csgo.
