  1. So I have a 1070 strix GPU and my primary monitor (1080p 144hz) is plugged in it via display port. I recently got a second monitor (1080p 60hz) to use as a secondary, now for reasons that are too long to explain I am unable to plug it into my GPU as well. So I was wondering if I could use the secondary one through my motherboard hdmi port (I have an i5-8400, which I believe has an integrated gpu). I would only use it for discord and browsing, and keep the gaming to the main display. Is this a viable solution, or is there something I should know?
  2. I already cleaned it. But what do you recommend I set it to exactly on the fan curve. I'm not very experienced with these things.
  3. Hey, so I had a 27inch 60hz display for some time now and recently got a another 27inch 144hz display to use as my primary monitor. I kept the 60hz one as my secondary because why not. The problem I'm having is that my gpu fans keep ramping up for a second or two then turning off, repeating this process every 10 seconds or so. This wasn't happening literally 1 day before, as of writing this. I don't know what to do cus it's driving me nuts. I provided the screenshots of the settings and fan curve I have been using for years, never having this problem. Any advice or solutions for this would be greatly appreciated. I have an ASUS Strix 1070 8gb. Also if it matters the main 144hz monitor is connected via display port, and 60hz one via DVI cables. Also I just tried unplugging the secondary monitor and the fan loop stopped, and the temps stopped rising as well. I have no clue what's causing this.
  4. Here are my specs: MB: Gigabyte Z370P D3 CPU: Intel i5-8400 RAM: 16gb HyperX Fury DDR4 GPU: Asus Strix gtx 1070 PSU: LC Power 600w I will try and test my memory tommorow cus its pretty late currently. XMP is on, and im not overclocking anything,
  5. So i reinstalled my windows fairly recently and it was working smoothly up until like a week ago where i started getting blue screens randomly. The worst part is when it happens and the pc restarts i get booted into bios. If i keep restarting the same happens and i have no devices under boot devices, keep in mind i have only one hdd in my pc. The only "fix" is to turn off the pc and wait some time and it will turn on normaly when i press the power button. It happens at least once per day and as of a few days ago the frequency is increasing, sometimes even twice in a row. I have no idea what's causing it as all the parts in my pc are not that old. I'm thinking about reinstalling windows again cus i don't know if the sytem is at fault. I'm clueless and could really use some help.
  6. Hi, so i have 2x4 sticks of HyperX Fury 2400mhz RAM that i bought a while back. Now i wanted to upgrade and i noticed that the current sticks that i have are labeled HX424C15FB/4, but the one that i wanted to buy (seemingly the same model) is labeled HX424C15FB3/4. They are slightly different in appearance, but as far as i can see their specs are the same. I was wondering if they can be matched together or could it cause any issues. I will provide you with the links so you can take a look for yourself, any advice would be helpful. Thanks. https://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/HX424C15FB_4.pdf https://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/HX424C15FB3_4.pdf
  7. So i had my Hyperx Cloud Stinger headset for roughly two years now and until recently it worked great. But all of a sudden my mic started acting strange, first making crackling noises when moved, then eventually it only wanted to work in one certain position. It only works like that now and i cant move it, because if i do it makes noises so loud anyone that's in my discord call want's to commit suicide, until it eventually fully stops. Then i have to manually mute it by moving the mic arm to the top (that's how it works on the stinger,it has a swivel to mute function) and only then can i try to find the sweat spot where it works again (which is really quiet because it's far from my mouth). I'm worried i'm not tech savvy enough to take it apart and check the wires inside, most likely i'll break it even worse. So if anyone has any ideas please share.

    Faulty speaker?

Ok so i bought my speakers ( Genius gx gaming sw-g2.1 3000 ) a few months back, and since then i had no issues. But recently the left speaker started acting strange. It`s buzzing when any high or deep sounds are played, such as rumbling. It sounds very similar to a geiger counter but in the rhythm of whats being played. It`s not that loud but noticeable enough to be annoying. Also i noticed it stops that when i press directly on the speaker itself, but continues when i let go. I tried pluging and unpluging everything and messing around with the bass controls, but nothing seems to work. At this point im wondering if its just a faulty unit and if i should get it replaced. Any ideas?
  9. I got an offer for an Asus Strix gtx 1070 8gb for a good price. It's been used for 2 years for gaming and has a waranty for one more year.Should i buy it? Will the performance be the same as a new card?
  10. Hey, so im planning on buying an Asus Strix gtx 1060 6gb card, and was wondering if i will have enought power cables because my psu is not modular. I will provide you with the necessary specs from my pc so you can tell.If you need to know anything else tell me. MB: Gigabyte Z370P D3 CPU: Intel i5-8400 PSU: LC-Power 600W LC600H-12 V2.31
  11. Ok thanks, just wanted to make sure before buying.
  12. So im thinking about buying the g903.I know it can work both wired and wireless. I was wondering could i use it both ways, meaning could i keep the mouse receiver plugged in my pc, and keep the cable on my desk to plug into the mouse and use it wired when the battery is getting low. If not, can someone explained how it should be used. Thanks, and sorry for my stupidity, never owned one before.
  13. I have an MSI gtx 1050ti 4gb GPU, and was wondering if getting a 1060 6gb also from MSI was worth it? Will i see any significant performance boost? My cpu is i5-8400, and i have 8gb of ddd4 ram.
  14. 3gb will do it`s job just fine for 1080p gaming at medium settings, but more and more demanding games are coming out . If you can get the 6gb version for a little more money, my suggestion is go for it. It would help you out in the long run. That being if you have the rest of the hardware to back it.
