  1. It seems to be everyone's favorite choice huh? I am going to try it!
  2. First of all, I'm a Canon shooter. I'm currently facing 2 problems. First, more AF points. Second, new fast telephoto zoom lens. Let me explained the first problem. I mostly shoot school events (Seminars, Meetings, etc.). I have a capable lens which I borrowed from my cousin; namely, 24-105 f4L IS. I also have my own lenses Sigma 17-50 f2.8, Canon 55-250 IS STM, 50mm f1.8. I mainly use my 200d mk II (Rebel SL3, 250d whatever canon brand it as in different market). There are a lot of problem with it, but it is a very capable camera. I pushed it to its limit. I only get annoyed by one thing AF points. p points AF is enough for portrait and travelling but for Seminars where the speaker is moving rapidly, there is not enough time for me to focus then recompose. If I do that the speaker might change his/her posture, gestures, etc. I'm currently taking an interest in Canon 90D and 7D mk II. Both have a lot of features I want(notably more AF mode). I am leaning towards 90D since it's my travel camera as well. I don't really shoot videos, but if i do so, I only shoot at 1080p. any other camera body recommendations for me to consider? If you dont think changing the body will help proceed to the next question. Second problem. LOW LIGHT. I'm considering buying a fast telephoto zoom lens to accommodate my kit. some events is in a dimly lit room. I'm considering Sigma 50-100 f1.8 (No image stabilization, very sad) and canon 70-200 both f4 and f2.8(IS version). what should I pick? I usually shoot in a low light situation. In the future i hope i saved enough money to buy both of those but right now, I only have the budget to upgrade one of them.
  3. a little backstory, I recently bought 2 M.2 NVME SSD 1TB to slowly replace my old HDD (1TB) and 500GB to replace my C: drive (120GB 2.5" SSD). The 1TB SSD is not the problem. I installed it and set it up correctly, moved my important folders (games, some productivity apps, etc.), still using old HDD for document and pictures. after I finished organizing the files, I start to clone windows to the new 500GB M.2. When I boot it up for the first time. it booted to the same drive. Oh! I forgot to change the boot order. 2nd boot. No OS Detected. I started to get worried. Did I clone it incorrectly? Then I troubleshoot it. Put the old drive back in, it boot up fine. Reformat the 500GB M.2, then clone windows again. Same problem No OS detected. I started to look up why does it not find the OS. I discovered that my windows reads the boot sequence from D drive first, then I proceed to where the actual OS is (C drive). Usually the boot sequence is on the same drive. Windows was already installed from a local PC shop I ordered my computer from. My question is that do I use the "Migrate" tool in the software? (EaseUS have different software and you have to pay for the migration software), do you guys have any recommendation for any free windows migration software? I don't want to pay for something I use once every 4-5 years, and can I put everything, including the boot sequence from my D drive in the new C: drive? My Old stuff 2.5" 120GB SSD HyperX fury (C:) 3.5" 1TB WD blue 5400rpm (D:) My New SSD 500GB WD Black (No heatsink) M.2 NVME SSD ("New" C:) 1TB WD Black (No heatsink) M.2 NVME SSD (New D: drive, already finished) Thanks in advance.
  4. ok i'll try to reinstall windows today and check if the problem persists. For the power supply i'll order it tomorrow. more question: is 550 watts enough? i do think it's enough but i suspect the reboot is a power problem
  5. can i run freesync with a nvidia card? or does ryzen cpu enables freesync by default. I might have to look into that edit: no my monitor doesnt support freesync
  6. No i did not reinstall OS. the bios and chipset drivers are the latest version. I've checked temperature there's no problem at all, during load period the cpu is usually around 65-70 deg and the cpu is usually at 70-80 which is normal. i'm using the old orange VS550 I've tried XMP for memory: -with xmp on: while running all benchmark the system reboot without error log -without xmp: system only reboot with Heaven benchmark. +extra: my ram is 3200mhz but the bios default at 2400 so i change it to 3200 i've tried to run benchmark on both settings with and without xmp. with xmp: system reboot without error log without xmp: system only reboot with Heaven benchmark.
  7. I just got a new system upgrade. i5-6600 to ryzen 5 3600 Asus H170 motherboard to msi x570 a pro Hyperx furry 8GB 2666 to 16GB 3200 after some problem with the cpu not working correctly, days of self troubleshooting and several runs to the repair shop. it's working! BUT new problem emerged. Anytime i launch any games. After a few minutes of either loading(GTAV, BF5) or playing(TF2, CSGO) the system restart without any error log. black screen and then restart. Troubleshoot already done: - 3Dmark time spy (no problem) - Cinebench (No problem both in CPU and openGL) - Heaven benchmark (system reboot after a few minute of running) Specs (old): -i5 6600 -Asus H170 pro -Galax Gtx 1060 -WD Blue 5400rpm 1TB HDD -HyperX 128GB 2.5" SSD -Corsair VS550 Specs (new): -Ryzen 5 3600 -Msi X570 a pro -Galax Gtx 1060 (same as old) -WD Blue 5400rpm 1TB HDD (same as old) -HyperX 128GB 2.5" SSD (same as old) -Corsair VS550 (same as old) all drivers are up to date. Windows already update. Newest BIOS version. I can only assume that the GPU doesn't get enough power during high load period. Pls help, Thanks in advance! EDIT: after some idling it seems that sometimes after 20-30 minutes my system reboot but sometimes it doesn't.
