  1. ****Update Post**** Bought the 2070 super around one week ago, and it is great!! Enjoying games to the fullest. Thank you everyone.
  2. 5700xt is like 5000 yen less where i live. Around 45 usd. I am not considering amd right now for the driver issues. If the 5700xt was 100 dollars cheaper i would consider it for worse driver and no tensor cores. There is also GSYNC, i saw it in the shop and gsync was smoother than freesync. Period. For the current pricing in my place i think 5700xt is not worth it.
  3. So 3060~2070, but 2070 super will have better performance than 3060? Like 2070~3060<2070 super<2080 something like this? I am also thinking about next gen ray tracing cores. I think nvidia will up the rtx cores across the card line up? There is also pricing. If i see the past history 2070 launch price was high.
  4. Hello, My system is a i5 6500, 16gb ram. I do not have a grapics card now. Have a 1080p monitor. As i do not have a dedicated graphics card i want to buy a gpu first before upgrading my system. Was looking into buying the rtx 2070 super which is around 59k jpy right now in amazon. 5700xt is around 52k jpy. The thing is, should i buy the rtx 2070 super now or wait for the nex gen gpus? What will be the performance delta like in the next generation gpus? Also there is pricing, in this covid situation i think prices will jump up, what do you guys think?
  5. If you install two cards, one will run at x16, another at x4. Getting a motherboard which supports x8 in the second slot is always good imo.
  6. ^Agreed. If you games mainly, getting an i5 6500 will also give you huge performance boost from your current cpu. 7. That power supply is not of good quality. As you have already bought it, can you change it to something like Seasonic S12II 620w?
  8. I currently have old Gigabyte 7750 card. It struggles to play modern games. So would like to upgrade. As polaris has so many new technologies aside from raw power. By the way, i also started my youtube channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHZuacH-E636828h8mOTl8g
  9. Hello everyone!! First post in Linustechtips. Anyway, i need a router. And i am at a loss which one to buy. I live in bangladesh and not all routers are available to me. I have 1 desktop, 1 local server which have my entire photo and video collection, one laptop and 2 mobiles. Budget is BDT 6,000 max. Its my local currency. None of my device supports 801.11ac or 5GHz connection. The desktop and the server will be connected via cable into the router. The thing is if i go for gigabit capability the routers are out of my reach. The ones within my budget have slow wifi. Or if i go for high speed wifi, i lose gigabit. I am at a loss. Stability and reliability is my main concerns. Two routers i have in mind are TP-Link WR-940n V3 and WDR3600. The last one is barely into my budget, has gigabit switch but slower wifi than the later. Recommend me what to buy. Should i go with WDR3600? Or with another router? Keep your recommendation from these sites - http://www.ryanscomputers.com/Network-Router/All-Brands/ http://computersourcebd.com/products-type/router http://globalbrand.com.bd/Access-Point http://www.excelbd.com/networking/ Or any other bangladeshi website. Just keep in mind my budget. Thanks.
