  2. I don't know, it may be the PSU, at least if you use PCPartPicker, if you have a PSU that barely exceeds the estimated power draw, then you may need a new PSU. Post a PCPartPicker list here and I will take a look.
  3. I'd go with the NZXT Hue+ for the case. If you wanted a cheaper option for the desk (minus the computer control) go with the Ikea DIODER series LED strips. I use them myself, and they're cheap.
