  1. I'm leaning that way because if your CPU is still working ride it till it dies right? I'll reread the manual.
  2. I own a 5820k. My mobo is failing and I know things are moving forward. My local Micro Center has a Deluxe 2 but when I looked up the manual it was vague on PCIe lanes and a m.2. I want to put an Elgato HD60 pro for streaming when not gaming on my PC. In theory it should be enough lanes but the manual doesn't say at all what PCIe lanes are deactivated with an m.2. I emailed Asus and the answer I got was your CPU is compatible..lol. So I'm asking you fine people. I'm also considering a Ryzen switch too but will you able to run a m.2 and a capture card on a Ryzen 7 with an Asus Crosshair 370 board? Thanks in advance.
  3. I want to get into streaming and I know you can't stream on Twitch at 1440p so would I be best served just to get a 1080 monitor or should I get a 1440p and scale it down? I have a 1080 TI if that helps.
  4. I tried that too serveral times and I went with a EKWB Predator but it's almost time to change the coolant now and after seeing what a PITA it is to change and get the air out of it I'm considering just putting the loop in.
  5. I don't what happened with me but that gave me problems. Maybe it's time I put the big boy pants on a do a loop. If I can build my own systems with pretty clean cable management I should be okay. Thanks for your help.
  6. So you never used the Corsair Link software? I kept getting the pink light on my previous corsair and I kept trying to get rid of it. But I do have expansion possiblities with a loop though.
  7. I need a new cooler soon and it's been a tough choice as I'm sorta chicken about doing a loop but I've been assured as long as I take my time I'll be okay. I had all types of problems with the Corsair software on the original h100i. Has Corsair's software gotten better or should I do the loop?
  8. My cooler is starting to go and I was in my local Micro Center and they had a few EKWB starter kit AIO and wanted to get some ideas. I'm considering the EKWB Extreme 240. Is that a nice one to get started?
  9. Just a follow up, I had to work and didn't have a ton of time to mess with the computer but I can confirm it isn't the power supply. My power supply came with a paper clip type test adapter and fan is spinning so I'm thinking it's the motherboard or possibly the power button on the case. I'll let you what turns up.
  10. Okay, will check it out. I'm thinking power supply as in doing more research your power supply could be out and motherboard will still light up.
  11. I was gaming and my computer shut off while gaming and won't turn back on. I was thinking maybe the power supply went out but the motherboard lights up any ideas?
  12. More than two way was never good anyway and I think they didn't add on the 1060 so people wouldn't buy two 1060's instead of going overboard for 1080's as they are right now but we can move one and end this.
  13. I dabbled with a 4K display and games look awesome but scaling in alot of apps I use I just can't take it so I'm selling my 4K display and going ultrawide. Since 1080's are selling so fast in my area and it's so hard to get one will two 1070's work out? SLI issues aside and I know about the SLI issues that can happen.
