Time to enter 4k gaming... kinda. Just ordered a cheap but new Acer 4k60 freesync TN panel... only got a Vega56 to drive it so it will be interesting...

    Nice! At least it has FreeSync, I imagine that'll help with the experience quite a bit.

    I've been wanting a freesync panel to play with for a while. I'm covered already with a 1440p144 G-sync on my 1080Ti system, but have wondered if it might be worth considering the jump to high fps 4k later. Much later, from the impending panel pricing...

    At the price the new 4k monitors are at, one has to wonder what those massive 65" displays are going to cost.

    Though, $6,000 would sort of make sense.

    I can afford it... but it certainly isn't a priority in my life right now! I need a bigger desk for all the monitors I do have... multi-system would be sweet.
