  1. Contacted ASUS support. Very little help they tried the same things I tried. They hung on my 3 different times. Most likely will return the board and maybe the CPU.
  2. Just yesterday I installed computer upgrades. I got a newer CPU, motherboard, AIO cooler, and memory. I put it all together and turned it on. The ROG logo comes up and it says to hit F2 or DEL to got into the BIO as it should. However I can not get it to go into the BIOS by doing that. It continues to the regular American Megatrends port screen. It is detecting everything it should on that screen memory, CPU, the USB devices I have in, and the M.2. However it says "Please enter setup to recover BIOS settings CPU Over Voltage Error" After that goes one to say "After setting up Intel(R) Optune Memory or the RAID configuration was built. SATA Mode selection must be changed to RAID mode to avoid unknown issues". Then is says to press F1 to run setup and that does nothing it just stays on the that screen. I was able to get into the BIOS I think twice when I did it was not showing my storage devices to change the boot so I could install windows. I restarted to see if I could get it to see them. I don't think I changed anything that has to do with overclocking. Even if I did I should be able to change it back in the BIOS but I can get into it. I planned on overclocking but till I have the machine was more setup. My biggest fears fears are that the board along with the CPU are fried and can not be used. I have made sure the keyboard works on another device. Cleared the CMOS several times using the jumper and removing the battery. I have disconnected all storage devices from the motherboard and still get the same message. Run a hard reset by unplugging and letting the power drain out then trying it again. Every time it turns on now it comes up with the same thing. I don't know what else to try. Hardware used 9900KS Asus ROG strix Z-290-e Corsair H100i Platinum Samsung evo 970 M.2 Any and all suggests are welcome. I do feel I know a fair amount when it comes to building PCs. I am just out of things to try. Thanks
  3. I am wanting some insight on the gaming build below. First what manufacturer is good for the 970 I see many different kinds and I don't know what the differences are. Next cooling, I know the case has fans and I have a CPU cooler selected. I want to know if it will all be enough. Will it be too loud? Would a liquid cooler be a better fit? This is my very first time building, so any suggestion on power supply, memory, or anything would be appreciated. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/YsjZgs
