dreamhacking reacted to Lurick in EVGA GTX 980 Ti Classifided X 2, should i do it???
Since you are going to be running in 1440 I would go with just a single card then. If you were going for 4K gaming it might be better to go with two but in this case 1 will be more than enough.

Needs more polygons to be honest. Kinda disappointed that you see such low poly count in 2016.. it is like old game.

Slightly more expensive compare to the Windforce. but comes with backplate and multi-colour led logo and better capacitors and components to build the card. haha

go for that if looks are important factor for you to concern, otherwise for performance R9 390 all day.

1333MHz is just the default. Meaning you can't run anything SLOWER then that. Pretty much any DDR3 will work with the G3258. Though I really don't recommend that CPU anymore... It was a good starter CPU for people planning to upgrade to an i5 later on. So if you haven't bought it yet, don't and the people here can help you pick a better setup for the same price.

I think you should send me your GTX 980 Ti, and i will send you my GTX 960 since you are using 1080P 60hz.
    Problem solved.

but be honest, GTX 980 Ti should have a big difference compared to the GTX 780

You have to buy another 980ti to feel any difference at 1080p/60hz.

dreamhacking reacted to MMKing in Why would this get released in the end of March 2016? =.=
The reason why graphics cards are being released over a year after the initial release is part marketing, part better wafer yield. This 960 is being released with nearly 200MHZ factory overclock, something which was not feasible to release in volume when the card was releasing. When it was released, you were looking at a 25-50MHZ increase on the core, and practically no increase on the memory.

Fast forward a year, and the quality of the chips are significantly higher, so reliably getting 1300+ MHZ capable chips for sale is feasible. They could just sell them under the older 960 names, but they can charge more for the 1300+ MHZ cards.

It's $200 for more a gain of ~5-6 fps in CERTAIN. Games. So not every game will benefit from it. Also, one 390x will not use the entire 8gb. It doesn't have the horsepower to. However, cfx 390x will be able to use the 8b to its fullest potential. I can personally attest to that

@dreamhacking Any off this list.  If you are just trying to get 16GB cheap then heres newegg Canada... I narrowed down the selection for you.
Those two you linked above would be fine too. Go with what you like the best and think is the best deal and matches your color scheme.
