Hello together, I recently bought an active USB 3.0 extension cable to power my Oculus Rift Sensors. (Link) Now that I tested the cable I found out it wont work. I plugged it into an external power supply but oculus and other software tells me that the device is operating at USB 2.0 speeds. After some google research I also came across the question of current backflowing into the pc. Is that true? If yes, isnt that dangerous for the mobo? Why are active USB cables built like this? I hope someone can help me.

Hello guys, I now have two monitors of the same type (both Asus PG278QR) and one of them is like a replacement from Asus because my originap one has a pixel fault. So now I compared those two monitors and realised, that every replacement monitor I got (at this point it’s the third one, because every other one already came with pixel faults...) has a wierd black colour depth. Am I doing something wrong software wise or whats the point with that ? You can clearly see it on the picture (right side is the original one and left side the replacement)

OMG thank you It worked. Perfect solution with one answer

I don't even have voltage settings enabled.

If I have where can I disable it ? I really think its because of the windwos tasks because if I stop the tasks the clock will go down.

Hey guys, since some days I realized that my GPU clock will not decrease under idle while I am on my desktop. My GTX 970 is running at its full speed of 1152 MHz GPU clock and 1753 MHz memory. The utilization is at about 0-2 % says task manager. Today I saw that the Nvidia GPU activity display lists Windows apps like Store, Music and Photos. Is this because of hardware acceleration ? I hope somebody can help me.

I reseated them. But after a second restart everything is ok..until now
-
So reinstalling gpu driver didn't do it Now I instantly got the stuttering after a reboot.. Also have to mention that I changed the two Ram sticks
-
Ok I´ll try but it will need time because the problem is gone after a restart. Thanks for your help so far

Hey guys, I have a little problem with my computer and hope someone can help me, since a few days I realized that my computer is stuttering even during idle after a usage of about 1-2 hours. Also my sound is distorted and my mouse stutters a bit. Feels like I would call it "micro-lags". I really hope someone can help me. Taskmanager doesn't show any suspicious utilization on cpu or RAM during these lags.

Ok good to know. But why sometimes 1,28 volts. Should I leave it at adaptive or switch to manual now ?

But manual mode holds the voltage on idle and on load.
