  1. Hello everyone, My friend is having trouble with his NZXT Kraken AIO. There's this cracking/popping sound coming from the AIO. I don't know the exact model of the cooler, but it's one of these X52 (V2), X62 (V2) 100% The noise sounds like this: (MP3 file) Thanks for any help! AIO sound.mp3
  2. Asking for a friend, He said that he gets 50-60 FPS in GTA V with a GTX 1080 and Ryzen 7 1700 with low settings in game and 1080p resolution. Apparently all of his CPU and GPU drivers all up to date and he hasn't made any upgrades to the PC recently what would impact the performance. Any ideas what would cause this? I've suggested trying different driver versions and even re-installing windows... Or is this just a normal thing? Full specs are GTX 1080 Ryzen 71700 16 GB 3200 mhz thank you
  3. EDIT: Okay I don't know what I did, but everything is working fine again. I restarted my PC three times and suddenly it just works... Thanks for the help anyways!
  4. @yaboistar Yeah, not the device, my mouse was originally plugged in one of the 3.1 ports and it didn't work, after plugging it into a 3.0 port, it works fine.
  5. Hello everyone, I'm having this problem where my USB 3.1 ports on my motherboard have suddenly stopped working. Well kinda... Both of them can power my USB hub and the LEDs that are connected to it, but when I connect my MIDI keyboard to them, Windows says that the USB device is not recognized... All other USB ports seem to be working fine. This all happened after I left my PC in sleep mode for an hour, after that I realized that that they weren't working. My motherboard is Aorus X370 Gaming K7 using some older BIOS from 2017, I haven't really updated it, because when I did my whole PC went crazy after that and I had to roll back to the older (and current) version. Can't see any errors on device manager, and find any drivers for the USB devices, which are a MIDI keyboard and USB 3.0 Hub. Should I update or reset my BIOS? Thank you for any advice EDIT: Now Windows is giving me the error 43 message for unknown USB device

    USB Amplifier?

Hello everyone, I'm a beginner when it comes to audio hardware, so I'm asking what would be a good USB amplifier that I could plug in to my PC? (also using DC power of course) My budget is around 50-70 euros for the AMP. Also the sites that I would order it from are Amazon.de or Thomann.de The headphones that I would use it with, would be the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro (250 ohm) Thank you.
  8. Hello everyone, I'm in need of more storage for my PC, but I don't have any SSD/HDD slots free anymore as I've used them all. What would be the best way to expand my storage? I'm thinking about getting an USB 3.0 or type C HDD dock (my mobo has an usc-c gen 2 port) or an external USB HDD. Also, I would use the storage mostly for games, pictures, and video files thank you
  9. Specs: i3 6100 (~55 €) GTX 760 3 GB OEM (~55 €) OEM motherboard taken from an Asus G11CD gaming PC (about this I'm not 100% sure but I'm thinking something between 20 € and 40 €) And the case is Asus Essentio CM6830 (I'm just thinking about giving this for free) Thank you
  10. Hey everyone, I was wondering if I could use my Nexus 5X quick charger with my Huawei P10 Plus. I'll assume that it's not recommended to do so, but I thought that I could still ask. Thank you in advance!
  11. Hello everyone, I'm in the middle of installing Soapbox Race World and when I scanned the .exe launcher file with Malwarebytes and with Avast, both of them say that the file is safe, but when I put it to VirusTotal there's 1 that pics something up. Should I not install it or do you think that it's just a false positive? I can't find anything on google that would say that the file is virus... I'll also add a link if that's needed: https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/4cd16293aa45623ce1a16582c36d8f05a3696b701efe3286d65f5736463b6c0f/detection
  12. Hello everyone, My friend is building is first gaming PC right now, and he told me that the PC isn't booting. I told him to check the front panel connectors and change the slot of his RAM (idk if that even would fix anything), but still no luck. Any ideas? Specs: Ryzen 7 1700x Asrock B350 Pro4 8 gb RAM (1x8) Corsair CX550M MSI GTX 970 and a molex RGB LED strip Thank you. EDIT: Well this turned out well... Apparently he just put all the front panel connectors to the wrong connectors
  13. Hello, I'm looking for a chair with long back (I'm ~185 cm tall), that would cost around 150 euros. I'm going to buy the chair from Amazon.de to Finland or from local Ikea. I already have the Ikea Markus, and it's super nice. I just want to try something new this time. Thank you for any suggestions
  14. What the title says. I don't want to pull it super hard, because I fear that would break the whole wire. Thank you for any ideas/help!
  15. Highest speed was 3030 rpm, but most of the time they ran somewhere at 2980 or so. And I don't have a custom fan curve
