    I honestly didn't know they were NA only. I'm in the states right now, so I could try it out, but I plan on studying in the UK (used to live there) and wouldn't want to start a subscription and then cancel after only a few months. Guess I'll have to skip it until they either expand globally or I return to the states in a few years. Not the solution I was expecting, but it works. Thanks.

    Haha, yea that's why I asked here. I never really buy stuff though so it seemed like something to spend money on. I have a problem with burnt holes in my pockets. (I have to save that 250 first before anything else because I'd probably spend all of it if I didn't lock it up) Thanks, as I said above, I'm just looking for some place to waste cash. It's stupid, I know. Maybe I'll donate some of it. Or put it into a system upgrade fund. (GTX 770 doesn't like Ubisoft games as much as me)

    So I'm a highschooler who recently got a job, at chickfila, and I have some extra cash to spend now. I was wondering if subscribing to Five Four Club would be worth it, so if anyone has experience with it and would like to share please do. Comments over quality, quantity, and value are all appreciated. Pics of past clothes would also be cool. If anyone knows about finances could you tell me if this is smart to do. Here is my current situation: $450-$500 a month depending on my hours. (I've been working for three months already) $250 goes to savings account $150 goes to car payments. (Parents bought the car, but I'm paying it off from them) $25-$30ish goes to gas every month So I have around $70ish of free cash every month and I wonder if Five Four would be a good place to spend it.     So I am launching a satirical newspaper at my school this semester. (First issue actually comes out tomorrow) The problem I realize I'm going to have is updating the website whenever I'm out of town. My desktop is perfect for designing the paper and maintaining the site through wordpress, but its not portable. I'm looking into either the Dell XPS 11 or 12 or maybe the Acer S7 (Although that one is a bit pricey for me.) The only things beside web browsing that I would need it to do is indesign, wordpress, and a little photoshop + illustrator. I won't need to use premiere or other heavy editors as I'll probably just edit videos on my desktop when I have time. Key points for any laptop are a. not slow in the aforementioned applications. b. good battery life (8hrs+) and c. a nice keyboard as I'll be typing on it a lot. Screen quality doesn't matter because I won't be doing colour correction since it is a black and white paper. One other feature I was toying around with is cellular connection. I was thinking if I got a laptop with 3g or 4g I could buy one of those fremmium sim cards where they give you around 250mb a month for free. That would be a nice addition because it would allow me to update the site on the fly when I'm travelling and not having to tether to my phone. (Crappy 3g only on my 4s) Any ideas? Also should I wait for broadwell? I understand it is coming up pretty quickly and I don't have the money for a laptop just yet anyways. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks -Chromeboy42

    Is there any tutorials like this? Or does anyone have any suggestions? My main concerns are how hard it'll be to set up and maintain a forum like LTT. I was thinking on setting up a small forum for my nieghborhood, but I need something that looks legit like LTT. What software does LTT use and is it hard to set up? Any help will do. Project: So I'm planning on creating a exclusive and local version of craigslist for my neighborhood and a forum style design would be the best. Basically the idea is to charge something like $10-$25 a year for access to a bunch of useful info about the neighborhood. Thread ideas I've been thinking of is: Ads, Trade, Babysitting, Garage Sale (Differs from ads as it is more specific,) Events, Job listing, etc. Any thoughts? And before you say it is a bad idea to charge my neighbors for this, I am a teen saving up for a car and need the cash, plus my neighborhood is pretty high class so if it looks fancy enough I'm sure people will be willing to pay such a low fee for it. Plus I've been playing with the idea of giving some of the money to charity depending on how much I charge. (I'd probably give like $5 away if I charged 25.) Again any and all comments and answers will help out tremendously.

    Awesome! I really like the camera apps different settings and the option to shoot in 4K. Dbrand looks really cool and I like that they support older phones like the iphone 4 as well. (That's my current phone.)

    I'm a high schooler with severely limited funds plus as a writer I mainly use a browser for work anyways. Adobe is the only thing that I need but won't be able to use and I really only need that for layouts so I can get by on my desktop.

    So I am looking for a chrome book for the new school year. I was planning on getting the dell chrome book 11 but then it ran out of stock. Now should I wait for the more powerful i3 version due sometime in august or get the acer c720p now? For a chrome book I need 4gb of ram and a healthy battery, but all the other specs don't really sway me either way. Any suggestions on what to do? Will the i3 really push the envelope in terms of speed compared to the current bay trail chips?

    If you want to save money, cut the noctuas and get something cheaper. Although they are significantly better than most fans, a little noise and higher temps is fine by me if it saves me a bunch. Other than that you could cut the 1tb and get by on the 120gb ssd until you get enough cash to get a 1tb.

    It is fanboyish by nature, but I'm working on improving my writing style so that it can become unbiased. I do think I could have done a better job of showing both sides, but that is kind of the point of this for me, a form of therapy if you will. I didn't mean to defend google or bad mouth other writers, I was simply writing down my opinions on the matter. They might come off as biased and ignorant, but I didn't intend them to be that way. Also I hate sensationalist headlines so I will call people out for using them, the articles themselves just come from a different view point. I can agree with many of their points, but I don't think they need to be saying it 'kills' your battery. All that will do is hurt chrome's credibility which doesn't need to happen if google has already said they'll fix it.     Recently I have started a blog, (By recently I mean yesterday,) but I need a background so it isn't just white. Sadly I can't design for my life so I was wondering if anyone could make me one? It would basically be white like it is now, but in the bottom left corner it would have something made up of google's signature colors. (The red, yellow, green, and blue) I was thinking of some sort of design made of hexagons, but failed in mspaint. For reference my blog is about chrome (Browser, OS, and chromebooks) and my experiences with it. It is updated daily (Or it should be) and can be found here: Chromeboy Chronicles.     I'm not much of a audiophile, but my brother had the 2100 and loved it until our dogs destroyed the ear padding. He really liked how it looked, which really isn't something everyone cares about but he likes good ID.

    Official will be hard to get, but unofficial would be dead simple to set up on a small scale. For games I would suggest games that work with lots of people and have decently sized maps. Open world seems to be the best for large groups since it has so much room. If GTA V every comes to PC (E3 I'm counting on you to deliver.) then that would be awesome. Just off the top of my head TF2, LOL, Minecraft, DayZ, etc sound like they would work. I'd suggest staying from graphically intensive ones though since not everyone has beast machines. (Most do, but still)

    Right now if you use the code graduation (caps) at checkout they'll take $100 off any pc over $600 idk if it applies to the surface pro 3 but it's worth a shot

    Jeez, I was literally ragging on how dumb microsoft has been recently two days ago. And then they blow me away with this. Sadly I can't afford the i5 + 8gb one just yet (No way am I getting 4gb of ram in 2014), but maybe further down I can get one. If/when I get one though this will be awesome for me. I use Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop all the time for my school newspaper and not having a portable device to work on them is really killing me. (I have no laptop) I have so much free time in my various classes that I could be getting a bunch of work done, except I don't have a device to access files on. (Adobe files that is.) The touch screen would really help when I need to sketch out designs for page layouts. Plus the difference in using a laptop vs a tablet is negligible for me since I almost always have a sturdy spot to put my device on like a table. For whatever reason that position is better for me than just resting it on my lap. My only real beef with this device is the lack of thunderbolt, because this means I can't use a external GPU dock for this. If the 4th gen adds that ability I'll probably be forced to throw my money at MS. With all that said I'll still wait until I can use one IRL before making a purchase decision. (Best buy should have them on display in a few days.)

    Yep, I have a wall of boxes in my room kinda like the WAN background. Not as cool of stuff, but I think its nice. I mostly keep them to brag about the gear I have since a lot of it is tucked away so people wouldn't know I have it otherwise.

    If you can get through with a skateboard then boots are no big deal. Skateboards more noticeable IMO
