  1. I am coming from Seattle up to LTX for the BYOC. I am going solo as well and would love to get to know some people. and of course play a few games as well. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
  2. I am from Seattle Washington in the United States which is about 150 miles south of Vancouver. I will be driving up for LTX and I have been to Vancouver Multiple times because it is such a great city and relatively close to home. In late July it will be hot (85-90F) and it won't rain that much if at all while you are in Vancouver. I would definitely only pack one or two sweatshirts and I highly doubt you will need them. It's usually not humid so it won't be sticky but it definitely will be hot. If you have any more questions about Vancouver feel free to respond and I will do my best to answer them. Enjoy your travel to our little part of the world and I hope to visit the UK one day! Thanks, Patrick
  3. Technically it should work as long as you have a way to support the card besides just the pcie connector. You don't necessarily need another form of support but it is just risky to not have on. As well if theirs no bracket where will you run the cables out of the case? EDIT: Now that I re-read the question I understand that just the covers are missing from the slot not the whole mounting bracket. yes you're fine you just may get some more dust in your case but realistically that's no big deal.
  4. I really like this projector. I'm really surprised that more companies haven't achieved this short throw greatness like LG has done here.
