Johnzzz's Achievements

  1. Update: I fixed it. I spelt water on my keyboard this morning, plugged in my spare and I’m all good to go!!
  2. Hey everyone, I’m having trouble logging into my computer. When I go to type in my password, the character bank is already full of the phrase “wsxe32”. When I try to remove it, it enters itself again. I’ve tried booting in safe mode to no avail
  3. Hi All, looking for 1080p gaming at ultra settings on basically every single game that I come across that is playable framerates (>40fps). And was wondering if the 6GB version of the gtx 1060 would be more futureproof or redundant as some games are poorly optimized and require extra vram to run higher quality textures.
  4. Advice on deciding whether I should get the gtx 1070 or 1060. Looking for 1440p gaming at max settings, as I am a perfectionist and like things to look pretty. Battlefield 1 isn't up to my standards on my old gtx 760.
  5. Gtx 760 :(. Overclocked it to the max so I can run ultra settings on everything and suffer through the 10-24 fps I get. And no I will not conform to the ways of nvidia game optimatization and yes I run witcher 3..with hair works on because I am a lunatic
  6. After watching Linus's plex media server video, I automatically created one and set up everything with all the sleek covers of tv shows and movies so I can stream it directly to my phone and watch it in bed. Now this worked as long as I am on the network that is in my residential campus dorm. So I watched Linus's video again and heard him say that only simple port forwarding allows remote access anywhere, so I found a tutorial on youtube to set everything up and found out that I needed to go on the website of my router, which is unavailable to me since I'm no admin of the network used by the entirety of my university. I called up the support number and told them "hey, can you designate port 32400 to my ip address so I can remote access my plex media server", they said that they were unable to do this due to that it might mess with other people on campus and etc. So I now ask you guys if there is a way around this (other than just teamviewer stream lol)
  7. Been sitting too long and causing stain on my hip flexor so I decided to make my own up-desk after seeing their benefits from the tech tips channel, and yes that is a microwave and several textbooks
