  1. Nope. Everybody in my family has something they want, too. There's not many particularly tech-savvy people either
  2. lol do you want to pay for Lithuanian shipping is there any better use of this thing?
  3. I don't really use it. Sometimes it is useful to have an extra PC, like if I want my mom to do something, but I do not really see the use right now. It's a Skylake i7-6700, 16G of RAM, no GPU (lmao on this aspect - my laptop performs better in-game than that desktop), a 240G or so SSD. I don't really want to sell it, but I don't know how to take advantage of it, either. It sucks a lot more power than a laptop, I don't need it on most of the time, and I like having more space at my desk, but I also need to put it somewhere. Welp.
  4. Thank you a lot for the recommendation! At this point, it might be easier to just buy used laptops because, oh god, the pricing and the specifications…
  5. not a must I would really rather not have a 4k display, ‘cause it’s extra pixels to push and battery life probably will suffer too. Where are you searching for these lappies?
  6. is there anything with a numpad, touch, and a good processor with decent graphics - even if they're integrated? LG gram 15 comes to mind but it's not in stores here
  7. Okay, then just best performance possible, I suppose. For example, from what I recall the newest Dell XPS has great performance. Unfortunately the num pad is kind of a must and so is a touch screen at that price.
  8. I can't give you a range on the weight, as I don't have a frame of reference. It's not the most important thing. Sorry! For battery, minimum 4 hours.
  9. Not a must, but I have found a Lenovo laptop that had something like that with most of what I was looking for. Regarding weight and build, I'd just like something that I can carry around with a few other books without crushing my back in a backpack. Battery life is important to me. The more, the better.
  10. Okay, good thing this is the right subforum. I’ve added some info the original post.
  11. Hi,Edited post to add information:I need something with at least 12 gigs of RAM (so, realistically, 16 — haven’t seen 12 in years), a versatile Thunderbolt/Type C port so I could have one of those fancy setups & futureproof my machine, num pad is a MUST (so display is probably 15.6"), so is a touch display. GPU doesn’t really matter but the CPU should be powerful enough; mostly on par with the i7 6700 (not the unlocked K one), if possible, as that’s what I have for my Skylake desktop.I’ll mostly be doing design work and in general I just really need a laptop like that for university. Might want to draw on the thing, so if it has one of those Wacom compatible displays that’d be extra neat. Found a Lenovo lappy like that once but can’t anymore. My budget is 1200 €UR and sending the thing in from another country isn’t an option, so I’ll share some Lithuanian sites where you can bulk search laptops:- https://kainos.lt- https://kaina24.ltAny help is appreciated.
  12. because facebook has actually... pretty good security!
