@dizmo I agree, it’s just difficult how easy it is for minors to get and then drink themselves half to death 

its easy for minors to get a plethora of drugs too, but alcohol has a special kicker to it, its legal to buy and consume. though thats never stopped minors from getting started with weed, and trying harder drugs too. now with weed being legal, it opens up a whole can of worms. not only edible weed products, which should be outright banned for the safety of unknowing children. its like flavored tobacco. but its much easier to die coming off of alcohol then drugs. drugs will od the user upon intake, and while they may want to die coming off it, they may be sick as a dog, dizzy whatever its alcohol thats the kicker. delerium tremors can kick in, a whole  host of problems can occur while coming off alcohol. its a subtle foe. i believe the charm of alcohol is that is legal, the commercials glorify the consumption of alcohol with happy go lucky parties, with no images of car wrecks and people choking on their own vomit, dying the rock star death.
