Problem has not been solved with new ram, not sure what to do...?

Multiple errors in tests 4, 9 and 13, I'll order a new ram kit this afternoon Thanks for the help, once I've replaced it ill update what happens.

My boot drive is a Samsung 840, so i really hope its not that. I'll do the mem test today, Thanks!

Hi Guys So this error occurred on a previous windows install and i just reinstalled all software to try to remove it. When the desktop appears, windows will freeze, looping the audio for about 5 seconds before resuming. In this time the mouse freezes as well. I assume this is a hardware issue after i have reinstalled the OS. Has anybody else come across this problem? Dose anybody know what hardware may be faulty for this to be a recurring problem? Just checked, most of these have been successful, looking down the history, the only ones that have failed have been involved with Word 2010 which I've since uninstalled. However, these problems started way before I installed Word 2010. This is on a Desktop i've built myself and a Acer Laptop.

Its not a new install, this install has been up for around 2 years. And yeah everytime I shut down its another 20 updates. I dont do a manual check but the next time i come to shut down its again another 10-20 updates. Very odd

Hi Guys So me and my girlfriend have had to do a windows update almost every day for the last 3 weeks. No idea why, i've since lost patience and turned off automatic updates but I was curious to know if anybody else was having this and if anybody else knows what the updates are for? Thanks Alex

So i've got a Blue Snowball Ice microphone that sits on my desk. I absolutely love it, its a great piece of kit and it is awesome not having to put a headset on for gaming. However, my Dota group always complains that my Cherry Mx Blue keyboard is picked up by this microphone and is extremely loud. Surely there is a software solution to filter out keystrokes and other background noises? Thanks Jinamgo

I almost always play support omniknight (around 40 games with him) and im starting to really get into warlock. I've been known to play a few lina games too.

I would love to play, but games for windows live literally breaks my copy every time i try to go online. It even tells me that i don't own the game when it's clearly in my steam library... Used to be quite active but i just cannot get it working these days. I think GFWL may be a big reason why it's not as popular these days.

Because i must have played through origins at least 3 times! Not all of those are recorded on steam because i got the old DVD version... Ahh, back in those days where DVDs where necessary... And you would read the manual while it installed.......

Ahh, thanks for clearing that up. I guess i really don't have to upgrade my ram for ages yet then!

So i just booted up speccy (awesome program by the way) for the umpteenth time, only to notice something that I've not noticed before, My 8gb of ram, which i've been using for years is only 666MHz. I've never bothered to upgrade this as I've never really had ram related problems. Linus always speaks out about how low speed ram is sufficient for gaming, but i didn't realize you can get away with such low speeds. Has anybody else just not bothered to upgrade ram as their Archaic ram is sufficient for their light use case scenarios? System is listed in the attachment Thanks Jinamgo

Games for windows live is one of the only pieces of software that I've used that has consistently just not worked at all. Even problems like being told that i don't own the game, when it's in my steam library!
