  1. Does anyone have or can link a download for the Cat eyes parallax wallpaper
  2. There way too many choices. probably better when you figure out what you want to shoot, and how small/weight you want, and what characteristics you want.
  3. I think the lumix G7 might be superior, there's more native lens and the whole system is cheaper
  4. Steel frame to me is still superior in robustness, too bad they cant fit too wide of tires and tend to be atleast few pounds heavier due mainly to the frame. I have an extra steel frame, I'm not sure if I want to put more vintage parts on it, modern parts, or a mix.
  5. I have a TCX-1 cyclocross too, it was custom built by someone, i just bought it ride to work. I have the Fujinon 50-230mm too, i bought it when I saw the price of the 100-400 and the 200mm, I'm still waiting for a 300 or 400 F4 or F5.6
  6. i mean you can also go the other way by getting a lens with a large aperture, though that doesn't usually make it cheaper.
  7. I like how this became a bike thread, any ways I'm into bikes too. Mainly road and cyclocross/gravel.
  8. video through iPhone 11 pro can be edit a bit, not much though. It's always easy to start with video shot correct then to do it in editing, though not sure how much you can do via iPhone 11 pro for shooting.
  9. I use Fujifilm, and I recommend practically all it's bodies, depending which body style you like look into x-e3 if you like rangefinder, x-t100 for beginner SLR style, x-t30/x-t20 for intermediate SLR style
  10. oh side note, when ever buying say e or F (nikon) always buy the full frame lenses, theres a few reason for it, first the APSC lenses are usually quality (build and image) inferior. The APSC versions tend to be harder to get rid of, not counting they have to be heavily discounted. Also if you were to upgrade to FF of the brand you can't use most of the APSC versions.
  11. both are fine, though having a XS with only around 2000 shutter count is surprising. the e mount is dying, which is good and bad, bad it means they will end up stop making lenses for it and there will be no uprade roadmap, good is that means there might be many chances the lenses get cheaper and there is already alot of choices for lenses. ef-m has a really limited amount of lenses, good part is you can get first party adapter mount for ef to ef-m
  12. That lens will give you worse videos then anything else. the camera body is fine but the system/mount is dead.
  13. Look into the fujifilm X-t100. It will give you nice raw, and the Fujifilm colour jpeg
  14. No, I just had it with the 35mm 1.4 right into rain, no cover or anything.
  15. if the box is tight, and your body went in dry, it should be fine, I've used the x-t30 even in decent rain and it work fine.
  16. I don't really see a problem either, it could be your monitor isn't accurate/calibrated? depends on how large of a screen you watching it on etc
  17. Just to note, DXO does not/cannot test on cameras that don't use the standard Bayer sensor aka mainly Fujifilm X
  18. I would say something like a used gx7 or em10mk2 with a rokinon/samyang wide angle or sigma wide angle, and a oly 60mm macro sometimes you can get under $400. my friend got the whole setup brand new for under $800 USD when they came out not long ago, so it really depends. Tho I would say using M4/3 is not the best in too low light
  19. I can't really help you on where you can go test them, since I don't know any shops in Minnesota. there area a few Mirrorless cameras with a DSLR feel like Panasonic GH4 and G7, or Samsung NX1 (Samsung made 1 or 2 decent cameras, but no one cared so now they are kind of dead)
  20. Well the G7 is a decent camera, but when talking about 4k, do you need it?
  21. Well a7ii is a alright camera, but once you said you want wildlife/sports the A6300 is alot better camera since it has alot faster AF and has a faster FPS, and better+more focus points from what I know, I've never thoroughly tested the A7ii (I'm more familiar with A7R2 and A6300)
  22. DXOmark isn't always really what to look at since its all lab work, and not actual testing around town etc
  23. to be honest I don't know what kind of rental you can get for $200 for 8-10 days, either you can rent a body, or 1-2 lens.
