    whilst not new to hardware related to pc's. the software side still befuddles me. any chance someone could do a quick guide to posting/uploading pics to posts to the forum? i ask as all the photos i try to add are too damn big and i know little of what to do regarding forum posting. apologies if this has been posted prior but i tried the LTT forum search feature and it yielded no results. tyvm all who read/respond

    theres no reason that setup shouldnt work for pc just as it did for ur phone double check ur pc sound out settings

    i find with a good sound/monitor setup fps gives me the best immersion experience plus really since early FF games nothing has really grabbed me outside that genre for immersion

    my sister has these, not bad for a headset but... she also sports a zalman clip on mic with them lol

    they sold it to u as new, warranty as such. dont stress.

    dude headphones and seperate mic is the way to go, something like the zalman clip on mic and ath-ad700 headphones. get some techflex/braiding and make it look like one cord. no headset will compare

    get one of those magnetic dust filters for the rear fan if u do this. and the silverstone 180mm air penetrators have 200mm mounts and they are real good as are the bitfenix spectre pro 200mm ( if u plan to replace the fron fan )

    +1 rarely buy new anymore as there is just sooooo much savings to be had this way

    for tri sli or trifire 2011 is the go imo. the extra pcie lanes and cores have been proven beneficial in few vids and few threads ive read elsewhere dual cards stay where u are

    nps, sorry couldnt be more help. but second hand ram sales are pretty good if it turns out he needs hock both to buy a kit. like the guys said above tho, had many succesful cases where i have added different branded ram. just listing my worst case experience

    cant comment on all cases, but when i tried to add ram to an older amd system that shared the same specs but were different brands i got checksum errors at boot which wouldnt cease until one set was removed. my experience on the matter is limited to one personal experience and a bunch of reading

    checksum error at boot is whats happened to me when i had incompatible ram modules

    +1 no garauntee it will work together tho, when u buy kits they are tested to work together

    3570k will do fine for a good while to come, not worth upgrading imo. if u wanna spend money sink it into gpu

    scout around for a second hand Dell u2312hm, top monitor. ips and crazy low input lag can be had for 165 on sale new in aus, not sure what they go for in other countries.
