Seagate 2TB drive finally died on me,after ~60k hours of running. Had ~ 200 bad sectors for months, since 2 days ago started beeping randomly and "rebooting" itself and finally today beeped for ~10m and dropped out of windows. 2nd drive ever to die on me, both were Seagate. def. not a fan.Only HGST/WD for me in future.

    Barracuda Green 2000GB (ST2000DL003)

The Barracuda Green series was introduced in December 2010 as a high-performance, eco-friendly, low-power internal drive, replacing the Barracuda LP series.[19] It is the first to use Advanced Format sectors and operates at 5900 RPM. They are available in capacities of 1 TB, 1.5 TB and 2 TB, with support for SATA II or SATA III and 32 MB or 64 MB buffer sizes, depending on the model.

The Barracuda Green series was discontinued in February 2012. The SmartAlign technology that featured in the Barracuda Green drives was transferred to the Barracuda range.[20]
