Freowin reacted to Infernal Burrito in Ultra (widescreen) decisions
In terms of vertical size, my 24in 16x9 ASUS VG248QE is quite a bit taller than my 25in 21x9 LG 24um57-p, like 3 or 4cm (about an inch) (from looking at it now, I didn't measure it.)
I think that the 25in is good for gaming, and I think that if you use a 23in display and are happy with it, you will be happy with the 25in ultrawide. If you want something bigger though, you'd be happier with a 29in display.

I keep it at the stock 60hz because I don't feel the need for a high refresh rate on it. I use my 144hz secondary monitor when playing games I can get above 60. For me, the LG is more of a productivity monitor. I've never tried to overclock it, but I'm sure lots of others have, you'll find their results if you search around.

Look at the WASD tenkeyless. Expensive, but very customizable and well built. You buy directly from WASD so no local markup and their shipping is "reasonable", all things considered.

Yeah, also works as a makeshift GPU support to lessen sagging.

Okay so here's my rig. Tubing's ain't pretty, but it works!
So yeah, I kinda skimped on the peripherals to buy everything within budget.
i5-6600k - OCed to 4.7GHz
MSI GTX 980Ti - OCed to 1500 and with custom bios
Gigabyte Gaming 3 z170 ATX Motherboard
2x8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM - 3000MHz
256GB Samsung sm951 NVMe SSD for boot drive
3TB Toshiba 3.5 for storage
Oh and DIY RGB Lighting controlled by an arduino.
Watercooling Loop:
XSPC RX360 Kit (Yes, I used the dual drive bay reservoir in an h440. Pics Inside Spoiler)
XSPC EX240 multiport for my top rad (I had trouble in adding the top rad as it wasn't aligned to the ports of my front radiator. I had to get a softer tube so that I could get a more secure, albeit bended connection, again pics inside spoiler)
EK Acrylic + Nickel for my GPU Block.
So I guess that's it?
Oh yeah, if you guys are wondering, I had the RGB LED strips on cycle mode, thus different ambient colors are seen.
(Purple and Green look sooo nice.)

The hex wrench should have been included
Sorry about that

thats normal, the screws that not fit are for the backplates. they just have universal screw bags and throw them in every package i guess. its actually statet in the installation manual.

Freowin got a reaction from airdeano in Will one Radiator be enough?
Okay, thank you so much for the info.I probably will end up buying another 240mm radiator to keep up with the added voltage.
Thanks a ton!
