  1. There is a chance you just lost the silicon lottery really bad. What program were you using? and have you recorded temps trying Prime95?
  2. Remount your cooler and change the thermal paste. run the test again after that and make sure the fan on your watercooling is spinning.
  3. Did you try searching Intel Ark? The Q8300 comsumes less power.
  4. Sounds good. Sorry I was not helpful. Maybe you can get a Mod to move this to the Troubleshooting section of the forums, and have more luck there. Good Luck!
  5. This is the latest "approved" driver from Razer for your laptop. http://drivers.razersupport.com//index.php?_m=downloads&_a=downloadfile&downloaditemid=2078 Uninstall the driver you're currently running and see if that one works. You can always turn off Windows 10 forcing updates through if it doesn't give you a chance to test.
  6. Have you tried Chrome Canary? https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/canary.html
  7. Also, what version is your Intel Graphics driver? I believe GPUZ will show that.
  8. I don't have experience with these newer laptops and the power features, but I have a feeling it has something to do with that. Right click on the battery icon in the icon tray, and set your power plan to high performance.
  9. The only time I see that Issue is when the drivers are either corrupt, or not installed. I recommend installing the latest drivers from your Laptop manufacturer's website, or at least reinstalling them even if they're the newest.
  10. I use this, and it's pretty comfortable. http://www.grifiti.com/products/grifiti-fat-mouse-wrist-pad-12-or-8-combines-wrist-rest-mouse-pad
  11. Wait until it goes on sale, then you get the rush and the feeling of getting an new card, and you also get the feeling of winning something because it was on sale. You're welcome.
  12. I'm no Guru when it comes to computers and software, but I've literally never had a time in my life when I wasn't Tech Literate just due to my family, and my upbringing. That being said, I did steal a copy of Windows ME from my dad's office back when it was the newest OS from Microsoft, and proceed to install it on my garbage PC I had built out of all the spare parts lying around. It worked, but then I Installed stuff like Banzai Buddy, Bearshare, and Napster. I pretty much trashed that computer when I got a virus that proceeded to duplicate every file on my PC until the hard drive was completely full... and it infected My dad's PC... and my Brother's PC until all three of them were crashing every 20 minutes, right around when the desktop would load. Luckily my sisters stopped over from college, purposefully contracted the virus, and then worked some wizardry I still don't understand to this day, reverse engineering the virus to remove the duplicates it created and once it was done, remove itself completely from the computer... I may not be able to understand what they did, but working in the Infrastructure side of IT for the past 5 years, I can fully appreciate the complexity. For a little background, My father worked in IT for 10 years before becoming an electrical engineer. Oldest sister was a Developer for 8 years before she worked in Infrastructure for the last 15. Second oldest sister has worked as a Developer for over 20 years. I was introduced to computers before I can remember, I was taking apart and building desktops out of the spare parts lying around the house by the time I was 6. and Gaming on my computer back when I had to sneak into my brother's room to play the only copy of Diablo allowed in the house.
  13. The white horse is dead. guesstimating on the time of death and composition rates it's safe to say the bones are a nice tint of yellow brown. What did I win?
