  1. EK's compatibility tool says p5000 works with a 1080 short top though, and I believe they use the same, or close to the same PCB as the p6000. Can't find a PCB picture of the p6000 to check though
  2. EK's MLC lineup has QDC's on both hoses I believe, at least it looks like it on the pictures
  3. EK makes good blocks. It's almost like water just erodes stuff..

The above one fits an Armor 580, so should be fine I think?
  7. While some brands make things better than others, there isn't really any of the main brands that straight up suck at one of them. You'll be better off buying from different brands, but a full EK, or full Alphacool loop will still perform just fine
  8. EK, Alphacool, and Swiftech are all mainstream EU/US companies. If you're fine with chinese companies, Bykski is also pretty good, but shipping takes forever. If it's your first loop, you can always try buying a kit with the blocks/rads you want, and you'll be sure everything is there. You can also do what @Cyracus said and just buy full "random" stuff from Aliexpress
  9. The 3 fan splitter is where to plug in the fans, so they don't go into the board
  10. I'll agree with Neftex. Seems oddly CPU-heavy for a gaming rig. I'd recommend dropping to a 9600k and 16gb of RAM if you plan on sticking with a 1070ti (can even upgrade the GPU at that point). That is, unless you're trying to play games at 720p 500 FPS, then you probably need the 9900k to handle the load, but.. Why would you do that?
  11. Yeah, they have a huge selection of blocks. It's actually quite interesting just how many different ones they have, considering the time and money it must take to get a new one R&D'd
  12. If you don't have the pads needed, then don't put a pad on. EK says you need a pad 0.5mm thicker than on the VRM on those caps(?), so if you don't have those, then don't put a pad on them

  14. Unless your CPU overheats, yeah. AMD's stock coolers are actually quite decent
  15. 68C != 68F It's still not a bad result, but not as good as literally room temp
  16. My H150 came with a 3fan splitter that had to be plugged in separately from the pump, but that should still only be 2 headers
  17. You can still run it Fan>Rad>Case, you'll just need to run the fans a bit faster, which means a bit louder. Up to you if the lighting is worth the extra noise.

  19. The drawing is roughly what I meant, yes. Push vs pull is quite simple. Are you pushing or pulling air through the radiator? There are arrows on the fans that indicate the air path. The fans you have will work better pushing the air through the radiator, as a result you'd need to run them slower to get the same cooling. made up numbers: In pull you need 50% fan speed to get 50C on the CPU In push you'll only need 40% fan speed to get 50C on the CPU
  20. Nvidias BIOS's are incredibly restrictive with voltages. Unless you physically mod the card, you won't have any issues using just afterburner or X1
  21. EK doesn't have a block for the Vega VII that I can see, only the 56/64, and I don't think they're the same PCB And yes, Bykski are fine. They just ship from China, so wait times are to be expected
  22. I prefer the look of PETG/Glass, but the workability of soft tubing.
  23. You aren't really going to notice any performance bump going with a better cooler. Your CPU might run a bit cooler, but you're so far from any kind of thermal junction that it just doesn't make any sense if you ask me.
