    Even the tesla cards dont use the full core, probably b/c its hard to produce the chips without at least a few defective cores. As for the lack of HBM2 memory, its important to look at who makes that memory, its a AMD technology. If we see a move away from GDDR5X by nvidia it will probably be Micron backed technology HMC (hybrid memory cube).     I tried running Doom (the new one) on mechanical drive. It was so slow I thought my system had locked up..

    Switch out the case for something cheaper$$ Like a fractal case, better design, included sound dampening etc etc. Drop the AIO in favor or a noctua or similar air cooler, youll similar performance Plus its way cheaper. Use the extra money to upgrade the GPU to a 1070 and the power supply to something with a bit more headroom.

    I'd personalty wait till reviews come in on, and I dont mean youtube reviews I mean amazon and newegg reviews for possible issues. There were some pretty bad QC issues with the X34.

    Is it codex related? Is one of them GPU accelerated?

    I wonder if its Geforce Experience. It has this tendency to auto-set game settings, poorly in some cases.

    I've been using the G300 for a while, decent mouse not the best if your playing stuff like CSGO but productivity and AAA games its good enough IMO.

    Offtopic but... I wish noctua would make an aftermarket GPU cooler. Performance wouldn't need to be amazing, good enough to beat out the blower. And before someone chews me out, I know about the other aftermarket options, but all the good ones, like the deepcool Dracula isnt something you can buy anymore.

    Paul, has done a video on his, it would be pretty easy, if you dont mind spending $$$ on the glass. Which will cost you like $50-$100 Now if your interested in fractal cases for sound dampening, then why have the clear sidepanel?? Your just asking for noise transfer.

    In that case you might benefit from running snapshots on a nas (or even an external SSD) , you could setup a "vanilla" windows install with everything installed. You could then reload the snapshot. Just a though.
