Just his amazon go video going controversial because he took pads but called it tampon on the video title

    What amazes me is

    1. This is a big deal?

    2. How's there 16k people watching WTF??

    Side note,

Maybe someone could enlighten me, do these live-streams help?

Isnt acknowledging the outrage of a toxic online community just showing them that they can get a response?  Wouldn't ignoring it be a better PR move?

Yo! I've had my current chair for YEARS, and it's falling apart. I see all kinds of people with DxRacers, because of the back support among other things, but they're very expensive! i really want one similar to these in design and support, but not with all the added cost. I'm not exactly sure if that's possible, but I thought I'd ask. Those or any other suggestions are very much appreciated! I don't want to spend more than I have to on a good chair, but they are good investments. I want to spend roughly $100 on a good chair, and preferably one that will not destroy my back. Thanks!!

Sorry to rain on your parade but you gotta spend big money to get a decent chair.

I got myself a DX Racer Boss a few months ago ($$$$) totally worth it as it is one of the few chairs on the market that gives me full neck and head support while being reclined. I'm also a bigger guy, 6'1 230lb

That extra DX racer "cost" your talking about is the quality of the product they are making don't espect to get anything half decent for less then 300.

As one of the other guys mentioned you could literally take a seat out of a car and mount it to your old chairs frame. Not a bad way to go if your handy with the right tools and have more time then money.

  3. InWin 303c shouldn't even be on your radar, its one of the worse performing cases on the market. It doesnt even include fans.
Is usb 3.1 type-c really a must have? It seems like something that will have more relevance in 2-3 years time.

    Fractal Meshify C?

Will a heatsinks help to improve gpu tempt? was going to get one but used up the money for a ssd

Your using a Zotac card right? Non reference card?
Pull off that plastic front cover and your temps will drop, easy done.

  5. I should also add...
Leave the top modu-vents in place, when i did my build I didn't notice any  meaningful difference in temps with them removed only an increase in noise (so long as you run a good fan as an exhaust.

This pic is terrible but you can at least see how everything is oriented, and the covers for the 5.25 bays were removed so I could get some air movement across the hdds.

So you guys have probably seen the new NZXT H700i, Here is a video if not, it has a new interesting "smart device" that seems to be a Grid+ and a Hue+ in one.

So what I am wondering if this device will be released separately for use on other cases because that would be pretty cool.

    Watch THIS
and then just ignore its existence.

So I really like this monitor because of the specs, but I don't know if my GTX 1070 can handle this refresh rate, I play at 1440P right now with no issues, but I don't know if the GPU can handle pumping out 100 more frames a second.

Does it matter? The point of G-sync is super smooth gameplay regardless of frame rate.

  8. Personally been using a G910 Orion, and just picked up a G900.

I've also been a customer for the last 10 years, the customer support has always been great even supporting products that are out of warranty.

If you want wireless and a cohesive software ecosystem for your peripherals Logitechs one of the only good choices.

Fair point i guess i could try that. I honestly don't understand why my 980's don't ramp up themselves i swear those things are retarded lols, the gpu be close to or at max temp on other games and the fan speed be like 60 percent and I just like why.

custom fan curve wouldn't be a bad idea then

  10. You just have to look at it in terms of $$$ to hours of entertainment
If you use going to the cinema as a reference, personally I cant go see a movie without spending $15 on a ticket. But that's Victoria.

I'm going to list some rough values but I think most of you should see my point by the end.

Say you go see a 2hr picture that's $7.5/hr for entertainment, and people pay that all the time, without batting an eye.

Using that as a basis and assuming the following

1 Video Per business day, or 260 videos in 2017
    Paying 38.40 CAN per year

0.63 cents an hour for LTT Content that's a hell of a value....

Especially considering if you buy a newly released game at $79.99 and only play it for 20hrs

    That's $4/hr an hour,

Plus with floatplane, no adds and better quality.
Anything that can help draw add revue and interest away from Youtube as is good. We need alternatives, Youtube has a monopoly in the current marketspace and until we see competition, things like the add-pocalypse and rampant demonetization will continue to happen.

  11. What OS? Its good to remember that despite its issues games are being developed/ported with Windows 10 in mind, win7 is legacy now.

-First step would be run the integrated benchmark with your current setting, then run it again with SLI disabled.

I wouldn't be surprised if its dropping frames b/c its just not optimized for SLI,

-What kind of Mass Storage are you using the game on? I didn't see an improvement myself but its possible to see more consistent gameplay if you enable a larger pagefile in game. Although this may only apply if your using a smoking fast storage array for your gamefiles.

-Personally I was able to get smooth gameplay (for the most part) despite being over my vram limit.

-Lastly what are your card clocks looking like, are you hitting a thermal limitation and loosing boost clocks b/c of temperatures getting to high?

Just some thoughts, I'm interested to hear if you can resolve this.

not bad for nvme. but still. 459$ for an ssd. thats expensive.

You pay around $0.50 per gb for anything nvme, until they start fabricating more NAND to help ease the current shortage its not going to change.

Strix is not perfect by any means.

Hard to believe an i7 6700k is not being enough for Ubishit titles already... but like me I strongly advise sticking to it until Ice Lake 10nm processors, as much as the i7 8700k sounds interesting it's literally just an i7 7700k with 2 extra cores, true IPC gains should come with the node shrink, not to mention it will bring 8 cores to the mainstream flagship.

My plan was to wait for 10nm or later, Id like to do an all new build with Icelake, Volta etc.

    now use liquid metal

At this point thermals aren't an issue, holding steady at 2060mhz on the core. I'm having a bigger issue with CPU bottle-necking in some of the brand new titles. Assassins Creed Origins for example, pins all cores and threads at 100%
