  1. Thats what i think also. Like as always AMD cards compared to Nvidia at performance bit lower if not the same or a hairthin better. But price wise way better fps/$... But Even September is like... Well not rly near by. I think i might sell this r9 390 before 1070 gets released in my country then if amd drops any better i might just replace the 1070. Will see.
  2. So i have a Gigabyte G1 Gaming R9 390. My room temp for the last days were pretty high like 28C+. And my card were runing at 84C...70% fan speed thoe. Its just 1 month old. Also my case airflow pretty good plus i usually have it opened. I dont like it closed lel. Now my room temp is around ~22ish C . And my card runs at max 80C. Isnt this a bit hot? Cuz i think it is and theres literally no OC head room. Plus another question. When will AMD release newev card. And will it even worth buying it? I mean i'm thinking of changing to the GTX 1070... When will AMD release new cards and where will be that card compared to the 1070? Cuz if it lower price BUT also much lower performance i think i be good with the 1070.
  3. I have AMD Overdrive. It does shows that margin is 70C for every core. So i guess i'm safe even at that max 61C. At gaming its never that high. Just at full load prime etc stress test.
  4. 85C ? You mean that for CoreTemperature or for CPU temp becouse the two are not the same.
  5. So as the title says i'm intrested in what is the max safe temp for this cpu? I have it and i found over the net and also some program shows that TJ is 62C. But what does that exactly means? CoreTemperature right? Becouse, for just funs and tests i OC'd to 4.8Ghz. And over full load the max temp was 71C. While the max CoreTemp was 60C So from that i assume at 62C coretemp it would throttle or even shut down? Idk its just my guess. Also aside from that another question. How's that everywhere i see people talking about that this CPU bottlenecks high or middlehigh end cards. I have a R9 390. And i usually run the processor on 3.5Ghz underclocked as much as possible. And i see no bottleneck in any game. Plus even if i overclock it into 4.8Ghz Its not that much of a FPS diff. Programs that uses processor more are ofc faster etc. But besides that. Idk.
  6. Hmm. Dont think so. But i can try that Dedusting mode if i woulda know what it is. :DD
  7. What? Btw i bought it for $520 Almost. One Gpu is at max 94C And the other one is max 70C . Doesnt matter if i swap them so the other one will be the first one . Temps are same just swapped. Idk. I'll try a budget laptop cooling pad tomorrow will see but i doubt it will lower the temps.
  8. No i'm not. I'm from the heart of EU so . Nop Correcting. I can switch between the two card. which one to be the first one. Both runs at the same temp. But i just simply use the ultrabay one as first becouse i thought it would be maybe easier to cool down that one somehow. Also underclock doesnt change the temps at all...
  9. I dont think it would lower the ultrabay gpu's temp... Becouse thats the one that runs at 94C...
  10. So i got this laptop. Used ofc. But in a reaaally good shape! And it was rly cheap. It has a 650m sli. After the first boot to see if the laptop works well i, cleaned it. And i reapplied thermal paste to the gpu that is in ultrabay. Then i ran a full Aida64 Prime etc stress teest. To see the max temps. CPU (Intel I7 3612QM) Max temp was 82C First GPU Max temp was 94C ! And the sec was 70C . I find these temps reaally hot. But it was a stress test so i thought it wont be that high in gaming... Unfortunately i was wrong. The laptop is not that bad. On the lowest in 1080p easily on stabil ~80fps can run R6S. After just an hour of playing the temps were the same! (Ofc i cleared the results before i started gaming...) This is without cooling pad yet. But i dont even think honestly cooling pad will help that much. I heard that also these 650m's can go as high as 105C when it shuts down or just throttle idk. But i'm hella sure i was not facing any throttle at all! But still i think its way too hot.
  11. I really hope not. Will see what will happen in Win7. Honestly. I think its no go. But worth a try.
  12. I literaly have no idea. I talked with a guy who have a r9 390 nitro. He using win10 same driver as me. Having no issues at all . Plus hes card is way faster actually then mine... Saphire edid a great job as it seem. Unlike f*kin gigabyte...
  13. If i take the graphics to the lowest. But at 1080p or so. Still have these bugs. I got the card actualyl second hand but its just 1month old. It have warr on it still obvi... I asked the guy whom i got from He was rly polite and said that he had the same issue in BO3 so it was unplayable. And also he had another issue in Bus Driver 2016 or whatever the game name is . Where he couldnt see anything on the mirror... Rather than that he said he tried the vid card with various games such as Crysis 3, Titanfall, Toxikk, Mortal Kombat X, Witcher 3 without any issue. Also hes polite and said he can take back the card to deal with the warr if i need it. But still i'm more likely tend to think that this is some kinda strange ass driver bug. He was using Win10 and latest driver also... I might go back to win7 to see if its being an ass still...
  14. I also tested out some other games. PlanetSide 2. NO ISSUE AT ALL! Romeros Aftermath NO ISSUE AT ALL. All games maxed out. At 1080p or 2k or even higher. Bf3 have like no issues. I only saw this glitch at once at a point of the map but nowhere else.
  15. Already said it up there. Crimson 15.12 . All the drivers i tried giving me this issue. some of them even more... What is a Nvidia title? What do you mean?? For some goddamn magical reason at this right moment. I dont have the issue. It disappeared... I have some strange green and blue colored reflections here and there. But nothing else... I literaly have no idea whats going on.
  16. I dont have Arma3 . I go upto 3600x1200. 30+ fps. Maxed out settings. No issue. Are there any Videocard ram tester or something?!
  17. I ran it for some time. No issues whatso ever! Despite the fact that it shows a random number as gpu heat... First it showed 56k celsuis. Then i quit the benchmark run again and showed idk like 1.4mill or so Then i quit run again and it showed 0. Heaven did this kinda issue too! I also monitored the heats. No heat issue! Max 77C I ran the benchmark everything maxed out Dx11 1080p And i got on the benchmark idk like almost 2.5k score. With 60ish fps. Wouldnt necessary say that its a good performance. But its okay i guess. Also i'm not overclocking! Well i guess that picture wasnt the best to show the issue. Wait lemme just put here a Yt vid. I saw someone had the same exact! Sorry for your 770 brah I underclocked memory clock from 1500Mhz to 1200. The issue is still there%
  18. I see it now. Dont worry i didnt slept either since i'm tryin to find an answer and solution. I did run Heaven, Futuremark. No issues!!
  19. Are you kidding me?! You dont see that?
  20. U're right i coulda post better picture... You cannot see the huge ass black streak or stripe or whatever on the middle of the picture?
  21. So i got a R9 390. Specificly Gigabyte G1 Gaming. And i have artifacts in games like this: Anyone any idea?! Sometimes its worse but sometimes its magically fixed... Idk whats happening. I tried diff drivers. Most of them just made it worse I'm on Crimson 15.12 atm. Win10 64 bit. I'm plannin on going back to Win7 just to see if its nay change. The windows was clean installed btw so idk...
  22. Hmm. Dunno. 1920x1080 times 2. (200% res rendering) 1920x2 = 3840 1080x2 = 2160 So thats 3840x2160. Which i'm sure could be considered as 4k...
  23. No i cannot get around it. Some games will use 4gig of ram alot of games probably wont. But honestly. The card itself not that powerful enough in my opinion to run those games at like 4k maxed out settings at a decent fps... Otherwise i hardly think that 3.5gb is not enough...Its have to be. Also theres many Yt vids out there shows how diff games handle in this part. JayZTwoCents explained it a bit better and also did some teests on it to see hows the ram...Not sure if i can or could put the video here but i just lend it out that he tried like Bf4 which i most likely will be on and ofc other fps games. So Bf4 Maxed out. 1080p at 200%resolution render. Which is actually 4k... Correct me here if i'm wrong its 2times 1920x1080... Playable fps... Maybe few settings can go lower just be at a stable 40fps. And not even close to the 3.5gig gate... He also tested Skyrim and Shadow of Mordor. Both those two is a naah for me... I looked it up and for the games that i will be gaming on will be enough for a long time i think If newer games come out i'll just drop back to 1080p...
  24. Alright. So the current rig will look like this: Fx 8320 + GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3. Cost : $134 4gig of ddr3 ram (already have 4 in my current pc so). Cost: $10 Gtx970 G1 Gaming. Cost: $266 SSD 250GB. Cost: 56$ The vid card will have 2year warr. , The SSD will have 3 year warr. The ram will also have 3 year warr. The Cpu and the mobo unfortunately nope. I was considering a Ati r9 290x also. It would be just $234 but then again no Shadowplay. And i'm afraid of using any other capture software becouse of lower fps... Total of $466 I tried to look up everything in my country to get the cheapest prices and this is as far as i could go... Ordering from like ebay or any other place first of all i think and as far i saw would cost more...Sec. My country have "special +taxes" on electronic stuff etc... So yea. As far as i know it can go up as 27%+ ... Also i read alot of people managed to overclock the Fx 8320 to 4.5Ghz with stock coolong...Which is crazy if u ask me... Halle my case is super cool so no problem with that for me i think... Also the Gtx970 G1 Gaming have windforce cooling which is cool and great for overclocking...Some crazy guy managed to pull out Gtx980 performance with oc from a 970... Crazy. And i'm sure that wouldnt be a huge problem for me becouse i laso happen to have a really great gpu cooling. Its basically 2 fans that are goes to the other side of the gpu. Will see if that helps for the gtx 970 too. Becouse at low end cards such as like 750ti etc it helps alot to keep it cool... If not i still have water cooling just hanging around. So i think i can manage to pull out pretty godo performance from this rig. But even so without oc i think it wil lstill eat today games at maxed out settings 1080p.
  25. Uhm. I just found a server mobo with 2 AMD Opteron 2352 With 2 pcie slot for crossfire or sli . With 8GB DDR2 ECC Its just got sold right before me... The price was 57bucks... Srsly Btw i will consider what you said. Really dont know yet. If i would get that server mobo i would just simply go for a high end videocard...
