  1. So i was wondering my self. Before i start testing it. I have some AMD and Intel chip's and i was just wondering. Disabling threads or modules at AMD will lower the core temp? So i could get higher clock speeds at lower core number? Or maybe its just in my mind and its a false thing?
  2. Nah lol. I'm not dumb wtf. As i said only for a benchmark. Even at 4.5Ghz i think this cheap ass mobo will catch on fire lol... Shitty 4+2 lol. I think i buy that mobo and build a homemade watercooling from scrap.
  3. Well in this cheap ass mobo i got into 4.9Ghz. lel. But only for a test in cinebench nothing more. So. What should i get from Intel? I'm rly thinking that 4core is not enough for me.
  4. Yep. I agree its old as hell. And actually i was wrong i'm at 4.2Ghz at 1.275 volts. So. Idk. Its a cheap ass 4+2 mobo... So i would expect more from the water cooler and the 8+2 higher quality mobo...
  5. So currently i have an FX8320. I bought it sec hand and i think i made a pretty nice deal with it. I got the cpu for 50bucks. Tested it working like a charm. I could get a MSI 970 GAMING mobo for another 50bucks. And i thought i could get the cheapest watercooling that i could get from new. The cheapest one is the "DeepCool Maelstrom 120T DP-MAEL120T" I'm positive i could do a push and pull config on it and my case is pretty good when it comes to airflow either. The cooler would cost 44bucks. The chip is actually not bad i could go upto 4.5Ghz in a cheap 4+2 phase mobo. (The VRM's almost got burnt thoe. Or atleast i think becouse the back of the mobo was a bit wwell green ish color from the original blue. It was on 4.5hz for idk like 2 weeks and had massive gaming on it for tests etc. So no wonder. I put a custom vrm heatsing on it now plus it have a fan on it. Sucking air from it. ) So my question is. That. Is it worth watercool it and go to idk maybe to 5Ghz or so?! And i'm sure i could go up that high with this chip. But is it worth the money? I could stil lsell it for 50bucks... And just build another like Intel config. What could i get at intel for like 200ish bucks? And while i know some i3 or i5 probably would give me better gaming performance. I also do alot of editing video record etc. Not sure if that 4core 4 thread would be plenty or idk. Also have to mention i'm not really looking forward to the future. Like gettin a i3 and a i7 compatible mobo and upgrade later on...
  6. Not streaming . Just local record. Thats crazy... I better go and just set up a sec small pc or a laptop to record it via local network or something.
  7. Naah that cannot be the case. Becouse i can see it goes above few times (veeeery rarely) 60... But even so that has nothing to do with those laggy dips...
  8. This is getting on my nerves now... System specs: FX 8320@4.5Ghz R9 390 20Gigs of ram at 1333. ADATA 560/510 SSD Win7 So lets say i wanna record R6S. I'm playin 1080p Maxed out settings except AA. I play at around the 70~120ish range. Pretty wild gap there but the avarage is at the 90ish area. While i try to record. Doesnt matter which software. I instantly go down to max 60fps. And it dips down to the 40ish area which can be feel as laggy. Theres no way in hell to record like that in 1080p60fps... Now i thought that, Awh OBS is using x264 which is CPU demanding so probably i get lower fps cuz of its eating up my CPU. So then i go ahead and try Bandicam Lagarith codec and other which are thought less likely to eat cpu but give a "losless" record which eats up your SSD/HDD. My SSD could handle the filesize. YET. Still drop into the same or around the same area... Now whatta hell seriously... And this is a clean Win7 install. Everything is clean installed. I think i'll take a try with Win10...But i have my doubts.
  9. Weell not rly. I mean you're not wrong. They have Raptr. Plus AMD cards have VCE. But for me using both of them was a failure... In fact for me in Bandicam i dont even see the "AMD APP H.264 encoder" ... And i bought Bandicam lel... I tried OBS with VCE. Fail. In fact OBS was the worst for me. It basically cuts my FPS in half. I tried DXtory with their bottleneck feature to see whats going on... And no matter what i did it aways shows that wther "Encoding" or "GPU" is the problem... lol. Even if i go as down as 720p 30fps plus ingame every settings at lowest... I dont have high CPU usage. Its around max 50-60% on all cores. And the recording is not a huge file its not even put any huge load on my sec HDD. What its like 1-5mb/s ... Even if that HDD is a max 60mb/s HDD its nothing for it lol. And i also tried it on my main HDD which is way faster. And nop. Same results. Btw Dxtory also almost cuts my fps in half. Bit better then OBS but still massive cut. From like ~120. Down to the 70s.
  10. Thx for the reply. I constantly monitor everything while ingame. Cpu usage around 75%ish area while recording. And 50-60ish without recording. And i did try to see if the HDD being used too much . But it isnt. Also i heard that there's some kinda AMD x264 for AMD cards that is diff. But i dont know why i dont have it.... I think this all comes to some kind of a GPU issue here or i'm not sure... Will try it with SSD soon the . But i rly dont know. And about the 30FPS. I did try that. And personally i HATE 30fps... And well it doesnt rly makes a diff. Like 5-10fps or so.
  11. So i try to record 1080p 60fps. I tried many software... OBS,Dx,Fraps, Bandicam, etc. Yet all of them gives me a huge FPS cut. Like rly huge one. Lets say i try to record R6S or Dying Light. And i have 100ish fps. It cuts down to the 70. If i have like ~85fps. It cuts down below 60s so into the 50ish area. And sometimes i have lag spikes droppin to the 20s... I record to another hard drive. Not into the one that have OS and game... Dunno what could rly be the issue. Specs: FX 8320@4.5Ghz R9 390 24gb 1333 DDR3 The HDD that i record into a slow and quite old hard drive compared to my main one. The write speed is like 60mb/s which is reaaaally slow. But i'm a 100% sure it should be enough. Cuz the recording is not a large file... Its like 100mb/1min. So its nothing that it couldnt handle ... But i also tried t orecord into the main hard drive which is a WD 1TB HDD that have around 160mb/s write speed. Yet same results... Any idea? Tried to tweak settings as much as i could. Tried x264 codec also...
  12. Ohh now i see. I tried 15.12 ; 16.3.2 Plus the newest one 16.5.3 Currently i'm on the newest driver. 16.5.3 Yes VSR is Enabled. I didnt even know about this PowerEff setting. But now i tried it on 16.3.2 i turned it off. Nothing changed. Then i updated to 16.5.3 which i1m currently on. I turned it off. Tested. Nothing changed. Frame Rate Target Control is disabled always by default. Power Eff was enabled by default but as i said turning it off doesnt changed anything. Changing the video cards were done by this: First run in min settings. Run DDU to remove drivers. Then change vid cards. Turn pc on and use driver auto update to install driver. The video card is a old HD 5770. It cannot run obviously the game on maxed out settings... But it runs the benchmark in a choppy 10fps lel. Which is enough becouse it is starts it... While the 390 wont even start it. After the loading screen the benchmark wont start t just force closing. And now i experience a new issue. Sometimes the AMD drives crash. And i get the message "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" Which i only experienced back then when i overclocked the gpu and it failed. I mean the overclock was instable . But now its not even overclocked its default... Someone said i might fried it. But thats not possible. Max temp always was 80C. Which is not high for this card... Plus if the OC was unstable and too high as i said its just crashed and i experienced this crash before with other cards too so it cannot be it... Someone said that the failed OC settings might somehow get "burnt" into the BIOS of the card even tho it shows default clocks it wanna run on the oc'd clock. Which is stupid for many reasons... lol Idk what now. I tried to just disassemble the whole PC and back again. Nothing changed... lol back to the OC i wasnt even ocin it to idk how high lol... 1025/1500 by default. I OC'd it to 1100ish/1600 lol And its not like it was running on it all the time . We're talking about few OC tries cuz i was just interested how much more performance could i get out of it... Not sure if warranity covers OC so i didn rly wanted to touch it.
  13. Uhm... What? Why are u exactly wrote this here?! At one point its my bad calling 3200x1800 4k. But besides that your comment is not useful in any way. I know about the benchmark feature etc. And as i said. I can play at. Well. Not 4k but 3200x1800. Over 60fps. Maxed out settings without AA. At FHD i was able to play with 8x MSAA before...So. With fully maxed out settings. But sometimes the fps was droppin down to the 30ish area... But. As i said up there. Atm i cannot use AA nor higher resolution for some reason. Diff driver versions actually act diff. But all of them having or making some kinda issue. So im really thinking. That the card died. I saw the artifacts and ingame glitches that i saw before with the other card i RMA'd. But at this time im seein some other issues also... Random ones... Random force close... Random desktop resolution change after force close. Randomly crashing other exe's. Such as dwm or whatever. I saw one time the logonui crashed. I saw some kinda desktopwindowmanager crashed. So . When the game suddenly randomly crash. Sometimes other exe's crash with it. Idk whats going on. As i mentioned before. I exchanged the card to a old one. Its not capable of running the game on the same details playeble... But it can start it. And it did.Without issue. It starts it with like 10fps. But no force close. No random issues. No artifacts. No nothing. It starts it as it should... So the fact that. Its working with one card and wont with the 390... Only tells me that this card died just like the one before. Lol.
  14. The answer is up there lel. I tried with default settings without OC i tested it with Underclock/Undervolt either. And i also mentioned it , that it was all good before. But to answer it right away. YES. My CPU Fx-8320 was OC'd to 4.5Ghz all the time. And yes it was stable as hell. In fact i can go upto 5Ghz without any issue. But 4.5Ghz was enough for me. So. yep . It was OC'd. nothing helped yet. Reinstall everything... Set everything to default. Nothing helped yet. And the fact that it is working with another card. Is reaaally strange.
  15. Okay so i changed the vid card and it was working... lol So its gotta be the fcking video card... And my last card i RMA'd wasnt giving me the issues u posted but still it was vram dead and it gave me glitches and artifacts ingame... So i got a new card and now i think this one is dead too... Or idk whats going on... I tested it with diff drivers. As i said i tested it with bios default ... Nothing. And as i also mentioned it it was all good before. Not sure wtf is going on. I was also thinking that. Maybe my PSU fails to "feed" the card somehow or something idk. i have no idea wtf is going on but its strange as fck
  16. So. I installed fresh win7 then i installed every latest driver. Then i wanted to go gaming a lil bit. So first i installed R6S. FHD maxed out without AA. Work like a charm 100+fps. So for me 100+fps is a waste of fps i liek to stay around 50~60ish so i thought i crank up the resolution to 4k. (Before i played on that so yea.) Then the game force closing. I try to set it again and again and again and it force closing plus sometimes gives me weird error messages likethis and that stopped working and etc. Then i said ookkkayy maybe new patch bug or idk. Lets stay on FHD but atleast 8x MSAA. So i set it up. Wanna join gaming. Surprise surprise Force close same issues... Wtf. At this point i frickin gave up on it and played with FHD maxed out settings without AA. So after that i went to FarCry4. And wtf. Same issue... FHD maxed out works great. Wanna go higher. Or wanna set AA same issues... I tried uninstall graphics driver with DDU and install another one. Same issue. Tried to win reinstall etc. Same issue. Synthetic Benchmarks such as Heaven, FireStrike works great... Idk what now. Before it was all good... OCCTPT doesnt show any errors.... Idk whats going on. I tried to set default MOBO BIOS like maybe it messed up or smething. Nope. Same. Any idea? Now i think i will try it with a diff video card to se if it works with it or same issue...
  17. I literally hate 1080p... Kinda disgust me. Actually i'm playin on a 4k 42inch TV xD. And 1080p just doesnt look good at all. Yea i guess on a 20ish inch monitor 1080 looks okay... But naaah for me its too small. I love big screens and high res lel. I sacrefice some Anti-aliasing for that easily
  18. Anyways i just figured out that. There will be enough dumbass who will buy the 2x 480 config aaand the 1070 ... There will be enough configs etc out there to compare them . I have hiiigh doubts about this 2x 480 will ever beat 1080 in games... Even tho i heard CF have less problems then SLI... sli have sooooo many issues... I face with them every day on the smaller config. First i'll sell my R9 390 asap somehow. Then will see which one is better for the fps/buck to go with. Until i decide i'll just play on the lower config lels.
  19. As far as the "reliable" goes. This card is actually a new one from RMA becouse the first one had RAM issues lol. So. Yea. I think i'm just the super unlucky guy with it... And Nvidia... they already have the monopoly pretty much... Dumbass kids cry to their mommys to buy their high priced cards lol... No but for real... Alot. I mean. Alooot of people gonna buy these "founder" cards jsut cuz its came from Nvidia... Like why would i do that srsly... I would have reaaally just sittin on my fricking money and bored at life for that. A lower performing card (cuz of higher temps etc obviously) louder, aaand more expensive. then to buy one not straight from Nvidia lol.
  20. My R9 390 is from Gigabyte. Its far the worst cooler i have ever had... It can cool the card... Yes. at 100% LOL Sounds like a Yet Engine. And still hotter then a Sapphire... lels. +voltage lock. I managed to overclock it like from the basic 1025/1500 to like ~1100/1600... + the fact that its with +50% power limit. LOL. A huge joke. About that AMD state u had up there. What i think about that is waaaaay pure marketing bs... What i have seen from that lil presentation. Is that If i'm not mistaken it was in Dx12. In a game that favours AMD more. (One of the few. lol ... sadly) Lower graphics. Not sore about that also. And the whole thing seemed like. "Ohh the Nvidia came out with something new. We have to do something to show off to them." Idk. What i think is that this is just straight mud throwing at the other one... You dont make a presentation like that. "Ohh look at this their card is 700$ But from that look u buy 2 from ours and it can barely beat it only in this game" I did not see that at Nvidia... And im not fanboy any of these two . Nvidia just straight up wanna get AMD out of business with ahole moves such as getting their gameworks in games so AMD users have to change or something. and we could go on about these moves... But its business... I guess. And now AMD starts with the mud throwing again... I remember they did this before also... What i hope is that they will come back with something way more powerful. But until then i think i have to stick with the 1070 i think... Now just gotta sell my r9 390 asap
  21. Awh. Idk. I'm definitely not happy with the R9 390... But i doubt games would benefit from the crossfire. As i have a smaller system with SLI even thoe its diff alot of games doesnt benefit anything from it...Its diff from CF i know... And about that "better then the 1080" idk about that too. It sounds cool but. Naah. No thx The 1080's price way out of my pocket right now... And actually not on maxed out settings but i can play at 4k even on this R9 390 Some games like R6S maxed out but without any Anti-aliasing obvi... Why EVGA btw?
  22. So it doesnt worth to change to it i guess...
  23. So i got a little behind i think. Specifically in my country the Gtx1070 will come out in Jun10. But i heard that AMD cards will come right at the middle of the month... And as far as i know the GTX 1070 will be 379 ish bucks if i'm not mistaken. I saw some vid about it and it performs pretty much like a beast as i seen it plus its overclockable well... Like a beast... right now i have a R9 390. And pretty much i hate it. The driver support is reaaaally bad. Or atleast i think it is the issue with it... Whatever So i want to get rid of it for sure. My question is what cards will come from AMD and how much will they be? When i bought my R9 390 like a month ago it was ~350bucks lol... It was a big mistake ehh...
