  1. Sadly no, Haven't had any luck trying to fix it. I honestly believe that its the dongle that is faulty and needs replacing. I've tried all I can to fix it but nothing has worked. Will have to get a replacement from Razer. quick question did you drop the USB-C dongle on the ground at any point? cause if its happening without any shock damage then its just how it's come out of the factory which is a bit sad
  2. Hi, Just recently got the Razer Barracuda X a few days ago and I can't get it to work properly. The headphones itself are fine, the audio quality is there when using aux but it just won't connect using the usb-c dongle (if that's how you spell it). I've tried all different way to get it to work. I've tried to download drivers that could be missing and tried to use every different port on my pc but with no luck. Does anyone else have this issue with there Razer Barracuda X or did I already break something? Also want to mention it did fall out of the box when I was opening it all up but no way did that cause it to break right? wasn't the high of a drop either any help with this is much appreciated :)
  3. So I have an issue with OBS/my pc build (i'm not too sure whats causing it) that will give me an encoding overload. I have tired most of the tricks to get the overloading to stop. Set to above normal or high priority, Turning down settings and bitrate, and so on. What my PC has: Ryzen 7 2700X 16 GB DDR4 Memory 3200MHz RX 5700 XT (MSI Mech OC) ASrock B450 Pro 650 Watt power supply (Corsair) OBS Settings I have: Format: mp4 Encoder: H264/AVC AMD Preset: Recording Quality Preset: Balanced Rate Control: VBR Pre-Pass Mode: Disabled Target Bitrate: Usually around 60mbps Peak: Same as target Keyframe Interval: 2.00 What i'm trying to aim at is more stable recording. zero encoding overload (or less that it would be noticed in a video). I'm getting annoyed at how it keeps lagging up a certain part of the video and I can't edit because of that good part that got the encoding overload. Any insight or help would be much appreciated this has been annoying me since i got my new PC in June this year
  4. Trying to look for a new monitor seeing as my Samsung monitor won't let me change certain settings. only brightness and contrast. any recommendations? My price range is 300 or less. preferable if the screen size is 27 inch.
  5. Hi, My Samsung C27F591 menu is locked I think? I can only get setting like brightness, contrast, and sharpness. but not the full list of settings. I'm not sure if its locked or there's something else wrong? I'm just trying to reset my monitor to try to get the colours correct for photo and video editing. Any help is appreciated Please I really could use some help with this if anyone knows anything please say
  6. UPDATE: don't worry about it. everything seems to be A-OK. thanks for the help everyone!
  7. Nah it seemed to be a setting in my monitor called AMA. but I think it was something I needed. everything is more blurry now... I'll update if a find a fix
  8. I think I may have fixed it....I've just turned off this thing called AMA on my monitors settings.
  9. Nah tried DVI but still has the same problem.
  10. I did a Full shut down last night, I removed the HDMI cable, and I've checked if it was the GPU and no it's only the monitor. (i have 2 monitors and the other one is fine) But I might try removing the GPU.
  11. One of the first things I did. didn't work
  12. Yeah. I had no problem before hand. but i do hear that it can hurt your monitor over time
  13. So, I went to go to do something else. then when I came back my monitor is like this Can anyone tell me if this is fixable or do I need a new one? Now I did turn up my Hz on my monitor to 75Hz. I have a feeling that has something to do with it.
