  1. Well after doing some more troubleshooting I think I found out my Graphics card is dead or has something broken in it, Tried changing it to an older one that I had lying around a GTX980 and it works great w/o crashing while with the 2080 is still crashed went all out now and ordered a fully new system Ryzen 7 7800x3D B650 Aouros Elite 6000mhz 16x2 CL36 Gigabyte RTX4070
  2. Hi , Just switched the power supply to the RM650i and still did the same thing. So i think i ruled out the power supply option in this. Could be the graphics card again? after the "fix" they did at the lab
  3. I think i wrote the wrong freq there, Its running @ 4.0 Ghz but its the turbo
  4. Hi , So i got a problem which i cannot figure it out. When i join a game that is a little heavy, I mean ultilizes my PC above 80% ish It just runs a few seconds and then my PC just turns off. Fans ramping up to 100% but black screen At first i thought maybe my graphics card is dead, so i had still warranty left and took it to get fixed. so they did "fix it" mean while i was using a RTX1080 (i run a rtx 2080S) , And it was running fine with it. When my GPU came back it was running alright for a few days or maybe weeks i dont remember, but then it started crashing again. but only on heavy games. like if i would turn the graphics down it would work fine for a while. tried doing some more investigations. was always looking on temps or whatever see something bad But the temps are alright (cpu on usage running around 50-60c . and the GPU goes to 65-68c~, gpu hot spot max 87c) so i ruled out overtemps and crashes. now i'm weeks like that but i can't figure it out. my system specs are Ryzen 7 3700X @ 4.2Ghz DDR4 Corsair Vengeance RGB RT 16x2@3600Mhz Gigabyte B450 AORUS Elite @ Latest bios Gigabyte RTX 2080 Super Guys i would like some tips or anything i'm out of clues already.
  5. Well hopefully after i get the RM650i tomorrow it would be fixed!!
  6. Fair enough sir. BTW: the psu that i have right now is the CM - Elite V2 550w (never buy it) As i've seen reviews about the RM650i it seems to not turn the fan on even while on load.
  7. Hi guys, I was talking here before about getting a new psu and i finally ordered it because i think my issue was related to that. But basically my issue was that my PC would reboot (like power loss) and then turned back on. While gaming in games like PUBG , H1Z1 etc. I feel like its the psu overheating or something and then turns a protection for overheating. I fixed it like half a year ago with replacing the fan inside of it. I replaced it with a Noctua S12A-PWM and it fixed it for a while until summer hit. And then it started doing that again. After dusting off the psu it helps for a bit. or turning the ac on it will work for a bit more. I ordered the Corsair RM650i to replace it (comes with a 10year warranty) But i still want to know if the psu was the issue.
  8. I noticed that when i disabled turbo (20W~ lower) the psu runs better. but still crashes, but takes a while. But when the turbo on it shuts down quickly. At first i thought its my GPU since AMD is a bit funky with their drivers. but i changed to the first driver and it still happeneds.. Do you know what happeneds to a psu when it over heats?
  9. It has a bit of dust in it. not much tho,
  10. I live in Israel. And i buy it in store. because the store is like 5 minutes away from my house.
  11. Okay so my problem today is, When i play games like The Crew (tbh only the crew) My pc is crashing (hard restarting) when i play for more then 20+ minutes I'm starting to suspect that its my PSU starting to do problems. The PSU fan goes to max fan speed. for all that time. It could be that it is to hot. My system specs: Intel i5 4690K (Stock Speeds , 3.9turbo clock) 2x4GB G,Skill Ares 1600mhz DDR3 Sapphire AMD R9 380X Nitro 550W CM (Cooler Master) Elite V2 Please help me ASAP , I'm planning on getting Seasonic S12II-620W on sunday or monday
  12. You picked the 4790K didn't you? And its an chip with unlocked multiplier (meant for overclocking) And you choose a motherboard which is none overclockable. And you can go with a board like mine which is the Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3 (Really good board for low price should around R$600 Alot of features and everything) And about your PSU stuff. You have the GTX 680 Which requires around 200Watts. And the recommend PSU for it is a 550W PSU (You dont want to run a PSU on 100% with that config) You can calculate your PC Wattage HERE
  13. I would've gone with the first build (4th gen) But change the PSU , Motherboard (to a Z97) And maybe if you can change the run. If not its good to. 8gb is quite good. EDIT: And as far as CPU upgrades (Current Gen CPU's have a really small performance bump. like 2-4% not much.) So you will be good for the next few years.
