Intel announced new NUCs, which on the outside they looked as the same as the other mainstream NUCs, but these NUCs are interesting becoz they are bundled with AMD's RX540X 2GB.
 

 
These NUCs are bundling Whiskey Lake-U quad-core processor, i7-8565U/i5-8265U, with AMD RX540X. Other features include HDMI 2.1, mini Display Port 1.2 outputs, three USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A ports, a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port, Gigabit Ethernet, an SDXC card reader,and Intel Wireless-AC 9560 (Bluetooth 5+802.11ac), but no Thunderbolt 3 ports. 
 
 
But there is one weird point about these new NUCs. These NUCs will come with 8GB 8GB LPDDR3 dual-channel memory, which are soldered down onto the motherboard. It is still unclear if there will be any memory slots on these NUCs.

A mobile phone store in Hong Kong was able to get a functioning Pixel 3 XL ahead of its announcement. Tech media in Hong Kong like Eprice.HK, RingHK.com, and Unwire.HK was able to get a hold of the phone for a while, and published their unboxing articles.

It is still unknown if this Pixel 3 XL is an engineering sample, or it is a retail product. In some article it was mentioned that this phone is now selling for over HKD$15000. This should be the speculative price/resale price, rather than the retail price, as there is only one phone at this moment. QNAP, the famous NAS manufacturer, has just revealed their first network switch. Their first switch is called "QSW-1208-8C", a 12-port-10GbE unmanaged switch. It has 4 SFP+ 10GbE port, and 8 mixed ports, which consist of 8 SFP+ ports and 8 10GBase-T RJ45 port. You can use either the SFP+ or RJ45 port, but not at the same time for those 8 ports (Remember this is a 12 ports (8 mixed ports+4 SFP+ ports) switch!). It also come with a low noise design, nicely-crafted chassis, and a switching capacity up to 240Gbps.
 

 
Pricing and release date is still unknown at this moment, but QNAP is launching a public testing program for this switch in Taiwan, which you could apply, and buy the switch for NT$8800 (~$290) if you attend a 10GbE event held by QNAP in Taipei on 3rd May. In that event, QNAP will be showcasing their 10GbE solutions and accessories in different environment. Noted that this public testing only takes 100 people, and pricing may be higher than NT$8800 when it officially launch. No words on whether this public  testing program will launch elsewhere in the world.
 
The 10GbE event page is in Chinese, but a reddit user "dunkurs1987" translated the portion about "QSW-1208-8C" in English.
 
QNAP has been pushing advanced features, like VM, 10GbE, and SSD Caching for a long time. Making this 10GbE switch is a step to complete their 10G product line.  As 10G switches is now getting cheaper and cheaper (for example Buffalo recently released 2 10GbE switches, which could also run 2.5G and 5G, for ~$880 (12 ports) and ~$570 (8 ports)), upgrading to 10G is getting cheaper and cheaper. Also I like the mixed port design, which you need not to choose between going SFP/SFP+ or RJ45. It could potentially saving money upgrading network adapters and cables. On spec the switch looks great, and I hope their switches in the future will follow this mixed ports design, with more and more ports.

Ubiquiti have just revealed several new products via a post on their forum, which bring high density client support and 10G performance across their AP’s, switches, and gateways.
 

 
The new product they revealed are access point "UAP-XG", enterprise gateway router "USG-XG", and switch "SHD". In Ubiquiti's naming scheme, "XG" means 10G support, via 10Gbase-T, SFP+ or others; while "HD" means high density client support. Thus "UAP-XG" means Unifi access point with 10G support. "USG-XG", on the other hand, means UniFi Security Gateway, Ubiquiti's enterprise gateway router with 10G ports, and from the photos attached in the blog post it has 8 SFP+, and 2 RJ45 ports (not know if they support 1G or 10G) on it, with a LCD screen (it is still unknown whether it is a touchscreen or not). 
 
As for "SHD", I guess it means a new switch, as "S" means switch in Ubiquiti's naming scheme ("US" for Unifi Switch, "ES" for Edge Switch"). From the model name, it probably means switch/switches with high density client support. Unfortunately there are not much info about this.
 
Pricing and release date is still unknown, but these new products will be complimented by Ubiquiti's new UniFi Elite service, which will be launched later this year. According to the blog post, this service including a complete hosting solution (probably for the Unifi controller), lifetime warranty, advanced RMA replacement, and expert-level phone support.

U may never heard of them in NZ, but Buffalo is big in Japan and some of Asian countries. Linus has un-boxed some routers from them in the past...

Atleast they are admitting its a refresh, unlike the 300 series. But this means that vega may not be that far away.

Dell held a press conference in China on last Sat (15/10) in Beijing, which showcased a lot of new products, like the newly refreshed XPS 13, or the new Inspiron 15 7560, and the successor of the Inspiron 15 7559, which is now available for purchase in several Asia countries and areas, like Hong Kong, China and Singapore.
 

 
The successor of the 7559, which model number is 7566, is now called as the "Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming". It still features either an i5 6300HQ, or i7 6700HQ, with 4GB GTX 960m. Dell updated the notebook with a new chassis, which features new rear fan exhausts and front-firing speakers, DDR4 ram instead of DDR3L ram, and HDMI 2.0 instead of HDMI 1.4. You can also choose between red and black for the LCD back cover for the FHD/UHD screen. Unfortunately the wireless solution still seems to be the crappy 1x1 dual band 802.11ac + Bluetooth 4.2 solution, and there are no USB 3.1 gen 2, or Thunderbolt 3 port.
 

 
The new machine is still maintenance-friendly as its predecessor, that u can access to the battery, HDD, Wi-Fi module, RAM slots and M.2 SSD via removing one screw on the one large maintenance cover at the bottom  At this moment it is still unknown if the new 7566 will support NVME SSD or not. 
 
Also, there is a 14" version of this laptop available in China, model number 7466, with a smaller 14" FHD or HD screen, and 4GB GTX 950m. 
 
The new 7566 priced from HKD $7999 (~$1030）, with i5 6300HQ, FHD screen, either 4GB of ram with 128GB SSD & 500GB HDD, or 8GB of ram with 256GB SSD, up to HKD $10999 (~$1417) with i7 6700HQ, UHD screen, 256GB SSD+1TB HDD. It is still unknown when this laptop will be available in other area.

The monitor, which was placed in the IGZO corner of the Sharp booth, is a HDR IGZO IPS monitor, with a resolution of 7,680 × 4,320, pixel density of 326ppi, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. With that refresh rate , and the cables cluster on the back of the monitor, it probably would required more than one displayport/hdmi cables to run the monitor.
 

 

 
Unfortunately the monitor is still in prototype stage, and it would be expensive, as it was aimed at business professionals. Also no words on when it will hit the market.
