  1. I shut my PC down, unless when I click shutdown it's actually doing something else.
  2. I'm having an issue where my PC is not booting properly or displaying a video signal after powering it down the previous night. The only way to get it to turn back on is to power cycle the actual PSU then it boots to the BIOS saying that it didn't shut down properly then allows me to boot as normal. I haven't updated any drivers yet, but just trying to gauge where the fault may be. I have a relatively basic set-up, no overclocking with just the AMD equivalent of XMP, the only BIOS changes I have is the AMD raid controller set-up on my boot drives (dual m.2 raid 0). Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
  3. I've just had a look and the price isn't much of an issue to be honest, so I will definitely consider them.
  4. I've been using Razer Hammerhead True Wireless (Original Models) for about a year now and although they're fairly decent, I'm looking for something that will last longer. Can anyone suggest a decent pair that will last at least 8 hours on a full charge? I use my headphones primarily whilst I am at work, but end up having to take them out and charge them in their carrying case after about 5/6 hours. I'm in the UK, so ideally something that I can buy here or at least within Europe so I'm not waiting several weeks for delivery and ideally priced $200 and under. I've thought about the new updated Razer Hammerhead's and the Mifo O7 Dynamics.
  5. I live in the UK, we already pay taxes on face value (unless selling B2B/Trade) but I believe in the US they pay tax after.
  6. This mic does run on phantom power, which is currently supplied by my Behringer UM2, I've tried turning the gain down so there is less noise which works but obviously then I'm extremely quiet.
  7. I bought a budget mic setup to get into streaming and have a massive issue with the amount of noise produced whilst using this mic. I am no audio expert, not by far, so any help on trying to fix this is greatly appreciated. I have tried to source out any potential source of noise such as it being placed next to power cables, sockets etc. and also tried using several differently placed USB ports on my machine (how the UM2 Audio interface is connected). Is there anything I am missing and should there be software that I run the audio through before any applications to help it?
  8. As the title suggests I'm after a UPS for my PC which is somewhat powerful. I use an 850w gold rated PSU from corsair that was a bit overkill for my system but I wanted headroom. From what I understand most UPS' are rated quite low for general home use around 500w-700w. I know I do not pull 850w from the wall but how efficient, safe would it be or am I even able to run my PC from a UPS like this? I hope that makes sense, TIA.
  9. Not too bothered about power saving, just wanted to make sure using something like a constant manual voltage won't severely degrade my CPU over time compared to adaptive or offset. I do understand however that overclocking will most likely shorten the life span compared to stock, but hey that's what the K series is for.
  10. Thanks, that's the type of direct answer I have been looking for. I had posted in other forums, but it was all indirect answers and not really helpful. Again, Thank you.
  11. Hi, As the title suggest, I have been attempting an overclock on my i7 6700k. The issues I have run into are my voltages exceeding 1.45v and sometimes as far as 1.52v when on adaptive voltage (using HW Monitor and Ai Suite 3). I had a stable overclock of 4.6GHz with 1.325v using manual and decided (after watching Linus' video) to use adaptive. Can anyone help me out and give me advice on what I'm doing wrong and how I can learn from it. Thanks, Martyn
