  1. 1. Why that motherboard? 2. DDR3 with skylake...? 3. 4TB?! Cut some costs and put it on the SSD! 4. I didn't know a bomb could be a PSU. I know someone already posted something like this but it's still a really bad idea.
  2. looks good, but I'd change the h100i to a kraken x61. but as of now it's fine
  3. Hi!
I'm new, and I came here to gather tips for building PCs.

    $1500 Plan: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/c8YMqs

  4. My teachers have REALLY SLOW but REALLY tiny PCs that look like they're 10 in tall and 2 in wide. o_O
  5. I'm trying to make a white themed build under or around $1500. If I switch from the i7 to the i5, I could put in a little bit more for the mobo (Gigabyte GA-Z170XP-SLI to the Asus Z170-A) and storage (maybe another 1tb hard drive). Should I do so? The build is: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/g3CGWZ
  6. permalink pl0x i have a build plan similar to what you require at ~$1500 though, http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LBPRLk you could skim off some of the price to make way for a better cpu cooler, and it fits your requirements
  7. I made a new part list, leaving behind the 760T (NOOO MY PRECIOUS), and packing an i7 6700k and a gtx 980ti. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PMY3K8 Budget is $1500, but I could slap in the 760T and go about $50 more. Should I? Again, probably made a lot of bad decisions.
  8. Ok, thanks I'm weighing the decision between the GTX 970 and the R9 390. I've heard that the R9 390 is good, but Nvidia shadowplay is one of the main reasons why I stuck with the GTX 970. If there's any alternatives, I might switch. As for the 2TB and 250GB SSD, will do! Thanks EDIT: Also, forgot to mention - the reason why I decided to get the fans is because I heard the fans on the liquid cooler is noisy. But the idea of using the stock ones for push/pull is a cool idea too.
  9. Make a plan in PCPartPicker then pay someone to build it
  10. White themed build, any opinions? OLD: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wdktcf NEW: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Gfc87P Budget: $1500 USD Aim: Gaming and likely heavier stuff in the future. If not, just futureproofing Monitors: One 1920x1080 (I know the plan is overkill, but it's supposed to be futureproofed) Will not change: Case No peripherals are needed. Everything on my other computer is fine, I just want to plan out a build in case I may get another Note: the graphics card in this build is prone to being replaced by new Pascal GPUs if it comes out by summer; look at it mainly as a placeholder for cost I probably made a lot of bad decisions.
