  1. I was watching this video and when he's plugging the water cooler in he says that you shouldn't plug the fan header into the motherboard headers and instead invest in a 3pin to molex power connector and plug it directly into the PSU. Should I go through with this or would I still be fine if I plugged it in normally? Or did I just lose track of the directions??
  2. Dunno much about that PSU, but it looks good from its cover. Should probably do a lot more research though, EVGA's NEX line seems amazing as well but it has some issues
  3. Don't cheap out on the PSU, it's the one part that could murder your whole PC
  4. There's a few 980 tis for $500? I've been living under a rock...
  5. I was considering it, but because it looked like a black box with a window I avoided it. I'll try it if it's worth it though.
  6. Is it expensive even for a mechanical keyboard...??

The only things I want to keep is the case, keyboard, mouse, and processor.
  8. Nope, they're pretty good. Just avoid the NEX series, search up why if you want more info
  9. Not much. Just do some research for the PSU you want to pick. Seasonic, XFX, and EVGA is good from what I've heard
  10. Get a chiclet keyboard. As always though, mechanical is a good route however it doesn't fit your requirements
  11. A mechanical keyboard is MUCH better at the price range of the Apple magic keyboard. Don't know much that looks like it though, but with some digging you might find a design you like
  12. I was able to try the G910 today and got a feel for the keys. I'm just wondering - what is the closest Cherry MX equivalent to those keys?

    G710+?

I'm coming from a really bad membrane keyboard still using ps/2, and I feel like MX blue might be too hard. That's why I went for MX Brown. But I might try it before buying, I probably won't order online
  14. R.I.P me Still using a crud membrane keyboard with a ps/2 connection

    G710+?

Hi, I was wondering - is the G710+ a good keyboard? Is it worth it at its $100-$110 price point?
  16. Just my own opinion. I just think that a link to PCPartPicker makes everything a lot easier to look at. Also, if you're able to use a tool for something other than resources, why not?
  17. It's perfectly possible to look through all the links, but PCPartPicker makes everything much neater and concise. Some things may not be able to be added on PCPartPicker, but that's when you start using the link method
  18. Probably a dumb question, but right now, I have a really old membrane keyboard (still using ps/2). Out of curiosity and also because I may be getting a new keyboard, in your opinion, what do Cherry MX reds, or even all mechanical keyboards, feel like compared to membrane keyboards?
  19. I'm used to 60 Hz on 1080p. It would be really awesome to leap to 144hz, but the leap to 1440p is already good enough
  20. Get an SSD and kill the PSU. Other than that looks good. It'd be a good idea to spend a little more for a WD HDD though, seagates tend to fail
