  1. You have more experience than me, the only thing that I can do is agree with you.
  2. I already have set Deep Sleep on Off. That would be the coulprit?
  3. Considering he's a newbie in the world of Linux, I think it's better if he sticks with Kubuntu!
  4. The same problem of Windows, when I resumed my computer from sleep it freezed over the lockscren. Because I am afraid it could be a problem that will worsen overtime. You know, today sleep doesn't work, tomorrow I can't even use my computer when I have to use it for work or study becuase it doesn't even turn it on.
  5. I would like to use the sleep mode. Again, I would like to use sleep mode. I tried to update Windows 10, peripherals, etc. without any solution. I tried to reinstall Windows and even using Ubuntu but without luck.
  6. Ok guys, I have this problem for quite a while (3 months). I'll try explain what happens and what I tried to do to solve it (without any solution). My computer: AsRock Z77 Extreme 4 i5 3570k Corsair Vengeance (2x4gb) @1666mhz XFX AMD Radeon HD7770 SSD Crucial 256gb HDD Seagate Green 1TB HDD Cavair Blue 3TB PSU XFX 550W Windows 10 PRO I have never OC'd my PC. My problem: I have BSOD randomly appearing (~1 out of 7) when I resume from sleep. My pc works flawlessly when it's on, without any problem. In event viewer, the error log is in attachment. And god, I am having this problem quiet frequently now (everyday at least 2 times) and I can't work, pic related. This is what I did, nothing of those were helpful: Change windows hiberantion/fast boot settings Reinstalling Windows 10 PRO Using Linux (Ubuntu 19.10) Cleaning the computer Reseating RAM and PSU adapters Change PSU cable Changing SATA cables for my HDD and SSD. Running a CPU Benchmark (Heaven Benchmark 4.0 runs perfectly) Runnin a GPU Benchmark (prime95) Praying Jesus What I think it could be an issue: Maybe my HD7770 is faulty, I've bought it used from ebay. It works good under GPU Benchmark, no artifacts and such. While gaming performance is in line with what's expected. This is why I would exclude it but I'm not that sure. My motherboard is shitting the bed My power outlet is faulty, but how do I troubleshoot? Everything else attached (Router, Amplifier, lights, etc.) works very good (and it works very good during GPU and CPU stress test). critical error.evtx
  7. Nothing to do. I still have terrible headache if I use my VGA, even if I tweak all the settings. Health is important, so I'm going to sell it and buy another one. I want to know if there' s a good cheap VGA for light usage.
  8. Could it be Pixel format related? I'm setting it on RGB full instead of YCbCr4:4:4
  9. I have the problem even while I study or watch some movies. So it's not only fps in game related.
  10. Yeah, I think so. Should I try to sell my VGA and buy another one? I dont play games anymore so I don't need something videogaming related.
  11. I tried to lower the brightness, even calibate my monitor with lagom.nl, nothings seems to work to relief my eyes' pain. I have been using f.lux for 2 years, I don't think it's a blue-blue light related thing. What VGA are you using on your computer at work? If it's using an AMD VGA , videocard could be the problem. p.s Also, I don't think is something driver related, because I have experienced this issue for at least 2 years.
  12. It might be strange, but I've got an issue that drives me mad. I'm using this DELL monitor connected via HDMI with HD7870. I always have eye strain and headache when I'm sitting to my pc while working or gaming. If I try to connect the Monitor with my motherbord via HDMI (I've got an i5-3570k Intel Graphics HD4000 on an AS Rock Z77 Extreme 4) all my problems fade away. I changed monitor 4 months ago because I thought it was an issue with my old monitor (IPS Asus generic monitor) but I still have the same symptomps. I tried to set different color scheme on Windows 10, reinstalled CCC (VGA Amd Drivers), nothing changed. Could it be a VGA issue? Do AMD graphics card have a different font rendering compared to Intel Graphics or nVidia? How can I improve? Should I change my VGA? Thank you so much for every answer.
  13. Thanks for the reply. I'm using an SSD so I don't need the Caviar Black performances, I'm using it just for torrents. Should I change to Caviar Blue/Green or another brand of HDD to improve the silence? What kind of Silent HDD do you suggest?
  14. Hello everyone, I've got a Caviar Black HDD 1TB. Great performance and all, but the only problem is the noise. I've got a Cooler Master K350 case. I know that is not a very good case and it's a little bit vibrating. My question is, should I change the case? or the Hard disk? are there other kind of alternatives? Do this kind anti-vibration screws can help? Thank You in advance.
