Upon further inspection, this looks like it's specifically the Parent Element that flips, so if you click on a search bar it's likely to at least affect the navbar it's on
  2. I just discovered something amazing. This might only work on Firefox, but here's the gist.

Put your cursor on a text box, then press Ctrl + Shift + X.

    The result is this:

If you can convince Razer executives to stop using stupid predatory practices and let their engineers design actually good products, and not just products that will sell and then break and cause gamers to buy more, that would be awesome.

  8. I am going to recommend you a 64GB RAM Kit then. It'll remove the limitation of working with huge 50mpixel + images and tons of layers. If you consider the additional $100 or so to be worth it, 64GB is more than you'll ever need for the next decade, probably. I would say if you're looking for cost efficiency, it doesn't get better than the Ryzen 5600X right now. You could downgrade for even more efficiency to a $210 last gen Ryzen 3600, but you can afford the 25% faster single core CPU.
  9. I'm going to be honest, I use your CPU Cooler Performance Tier List so often I feel like I should donate. Lol

  10. I disagree. For one, the Ryzen 5600X has similar multicore performance to the 3800X, despite being only 6 cores. This is because the single core performance improved very significantly compared to Ryzen 3000. In the case of the 5800X, I think if you're not someone who already owns a business and is already making money with their computer, the $120 price difference does not justify the jump from 6 to 8 cores in my opinion. A Ryzen 5600X is the only CPU you need for consumer or prosumer workloads.

I bought it through Amazon. I wasn't able to return it through there, they cited the 30 days return window etc. I may have done it wrong and I might be able to return it from Amazon. The fact that all 4 products I've owned have had premature failures still stands for me.

All 4 products of theirs I've owned have broken prematurely, and not once was I able to claim the warranty. They actually don't honor it if you don't live in one of their few countries they have "full coverage" for. I wish I was lying.
  13. Welcome to the forums! There is tons of upgrade room for your system for sure. Your GPU can continue to work fine for a while and I recommend that you look at other things because graphics cards are still at inflated prices recently. With that said, your budget is really good and accommodates for quite a bit of upgrading, so let's get started with the rest of the system and then see if we can fit a good GPU in there. PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor ($289.99 @ Amazon) CPU Cooler: Thermalright TRUE Spirit 140 Direct 73.6 CFM CPU Cooler ($42.99 @ Amazon) Motherboard: ASRock B550 Pro4 ATX AM4 Motherboard ($114.99 @ Amazon) Memory: Team T-Create Classic 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL22 Memory ($136.99 @ Amazon) Case: Lian Li Lancool II Mesh ATX Mid Tower Case ($109.99 @ B&H) Total: $694.95 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2021-07-13 17:55 EDT-0400 Ok so, this is $700. I would save up a bit more while you wait for a new GPU, but if you think this is too much money for the non-GPU upgrades, we can downgrade the motherboard to save $30 and the case to save up to $50. I chose a really nice case that will be super comfortable to work in and has very nice build quality. If you're interested in a video card upgrade, you can get used GTX 1080s for around $400US (technically a bit below launch price, but consider that this is a 2017 card). There is basically no worthwhile new GPU available outside of the entry level market right now.

It is not without reason, however.

My list of Blacklisted Companies when it comes to Hardware: Razer, MSI, Dell, HP (just bought an Envy for school so hope that'll at least be good), Microsoft, Thermalfake, Apple (don't buy any iPad ever if you try to actually do something productive on it which isn't drawing or using the AR Sensor, Apple Watch has to be reset every few Months because of Battery Drainage problem after Watch OS Update 7.5) at least the iPhone actually does as I want.

  16. ~Moved to Laptops and Prebuilt Systems I don't have experience with Razer laptops, but I can say that all 4 Razer products I've owned have had big reliability issues and started causing problems prematurely (even after just 6 months). What's more is that if you don't live in one of the 8 or so countries that they have warranty coverage for, they will not honor your product's warranty unless you ship it to one of those few countries. (I actually have screenshots of my email conversation with their customer service reps). So the unreliability you are having to me is not news. I would not expect 4 years out of a Razer product. You might get lucky and get one that doesn't break, but if you're looking for reliability there are other laptop brands to look at. Specifically, there's ASUS and Lenovo; I've worked with laptops with both brands and although still not perfect, their build quality and reliability seems on average quite a bit better.

Generally, segregation leads to resentment. That's what I would argue in favor of allowing people of all nationalities in the big Hotel. I would say their intention was probably in the right place, but the Japanese (on average) do feel superior to other races. I have heard this from multiple Japanese people that I trust and my perception of them generally agrees. I think the young generations are already trying to solve that but I do think the language they used reflects the fact that they didn't put a lot of thought into the wording they used. That said, I do agree that it's a minor thing and people all around the world have a tendency to blow problems over proportions either for selfish purposes or for no reason at all. I fear this would get political quick so I'm going to stop here, but you can PM me if you want to talk about it.

Ever since Update 89.0, Firefox has been using…

I see. Of course, this will be fine once I upgrade to 16GB, but there are so many people running 8GB all over the world still that I'd rather ask for Firefox to not be a massive memory hog. It's one of the big reasons why I continue to choose it over Chrome; if I can't fix this then I'll probably just revert to 88.0 or look for another privacy heavy lightweight browser.

Why are there 6 Firefox Instances running in the background taking up almost 1GB?

  24. Ooh. Interesting. Thanks for sharing the link. Let's see what kind of UI changes they make. The little I've seen of the new UI I actually liked, even though I heard a lot of people disliking it. Edit: LOL they're starting with useless marketing fluff, I think I'll wait for the recaps

Yeah, I'm sure I have these issues because I'm still running 8GB so I have to be careful about my settings etc. I have to say, other than this I have not felt any issues with running 8GB of RAM even in 2021. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone because I am very careful about how much RAM I consume (I regularly clean up programs that randomly run in the background even when you're not using them, I close every program from the Task Manager when I really want to close it, etcetc)
